Love the first cut velvet leopard dress, although you think it is too long! The colours are lovely with your hair and skin tone, and it’s a very flattering shape, also love the sleeves! Or……the black dress with the pleated skirt. Very flattering, never go wrong with black. Also love the silver dress. Flattering shape and gorgeous with your hair! Really good advice Helen regarding mother of the bride. I thought the second dress was the most flattering and fitted your figure well. I would definitely recommend shoulder pads for all the dresses. I wouldn’t be without them. They really help balancing your shape.The blue dress and the last dress were the best colour I don’t know why you liked the black velvet dress. It dragged you down and wasn’t very festive. I love all the jewellery ,who wouldn’t. X
Hi Helen: Michigan here. The shimmery, slate gray dress is very flattering and slimming and not overtly Christmasy, if you are concerned about that. It’s the most elegant on you. However, when you put the wine-colored dress on, your face came alive! You might consider it, as you said, over narrow black pants/leggings with the self belt. It is SO flattering! You could wear either to the party. Beads and sequins are everywhere this season and not restricted to holiday parties.
Ahhh, the dresses! Favorite look for me was the first one. SO flattering. So chic! Wear bold earrings or a bold necklace, but not both. Or your usual jewelry style is always classic and chic. Then, liked the black dress with great sleeves and long pleated skirt was stylish and a definite contender. Finally, the burgundy sequined number was a festive, yet understated and glamorous look. Have you any wide leg sequined dress pants in a dark silver sequins/satin and low heels with a pointed toe? That could be stunning! Lastly, excellent thoughts and example of how to stand! I like the blue and reckon that's comfortable for dancing and a bit cooler. I love a sequin too. I noticed they have a skirt in Primarni for £15. I got a lovely velvet wrap dress in Asda that I am thrilled with. It is nice when you get something you love. Xx

Hi Helen, You look so elegant in the second leopard dress I only suit v necks too you also looked lovely in the last black dress a little tip my mum taught me she was a wonderful tailer made top quality clothing I take a little black shearing elastic and make round necks into v necks I had a vintage suit but looked a little old fashioned so I did the neck then the cuffs and the middle of the hem the complements I got was amazing I love making different things anyway you look elegant in almost all you try on and really love those boots I’m only a size 2 shoe so find it very difficult to buy shoes I always buy shoes in France and Italy as they seem to have smaller feet my daughter is a size 8 anyway thanks for sharing have a lovely week x
Really liked the black dress with the sparkles in the fabric. I know you said you didn't like the neckline but I think it makes the dress classy. All you need is a long necklace. To me it's a keeper.

The only one I didn't like was the blue velvet - the color was harsh, and the style looked at little matronly to me. I like the second dress, but would prefer it a little shorter. Helllooo Helen, I think the second dress really suited you. I've mentioned Klass, Anna Rose dresses to you before, but you thought they were too flowery. If you look at their mesh embellished midi dresses, I think you'll agree that they would suit you; V neck and 3 quarter length sleeves and not a flower in sight! Lol.
The grey shimmer wrap fits you like a glove beautiful dress that I have it too but from river island I wear mine with a silver belt and the wrap tie belt flat on the side mine was £8.50 new with tag from vinted lol
You look beautiful in everything and you can wear any colour - wonderful! I think you have lost weight and have tried on some not-so-long dresses lately, which are flattering. That may be why the first dresses feel so long. I prefer the second leopard dress - very slenderising and fun! The first velvet leopard dress would look pretty with a silk black ribbon as a belt. I like the second orange pattern dress Helen…….the first one didn’t fit properly! Great Boots…..love them! Also loved the royal blue dress, you’re right, it’s very flattering especially with the gorgeous jewellery! ……and then the bingo moment……the last black dress is the one for the party…..glamorous but also looks comfy! Oooh I love the red tunic dress although I don’t tend to do sequins ……maybe I’ll take a look in Tu as I have a gathering before Xmas!

Also loved the royal blue dress, you’re right, it’s very flattering especially with the gorgeous jewellery! ……and then the bingo moment……the last black dress is the one for the party…..glamorous but also looks comfy! Oooh I love the red tunic dress although I don’t tend to do sequins ……maybe I’ll take a look in Tu as I have a gathering before Xmas!
