    Because the truck is raised dont you need to lower the beam more? For trucks that are stock heigh they suggest 2 to 3 inches lower already but if you raise that truck then cut off is that much higher which will shine on oncoming traffic...

  • @michaelc.6306
    @michaelc.6306 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    The Driver side is supposed to be Lower & the Passenger side is to be higher. As oncoming traffic is typically on the Driver side, so as not to Blind Oncoming traffic.

  • @EcBuddy123
    @EcBuddy123 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I just used another, stock, suv at the same distance. Both headlights sit at 36+ inches so their beam should throw at about the same height and width. However the driver light cut off line on stock headlights sit lower than the passenger and I think that's due to help oncoming traffic

    • @Runnin4Tacos
      @Runnin4Tacos  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, stock headlights tend to be lower on the driver side for that exact reason

  • @attobuoy
    @attobuoy ปีที่แล้ว +3

    The way you've adjusted these lights leaves them so high they'll shine in the mirrors, and on the people inside, of most cars you follow. That's rude. They should be adjusted low enough to illuminate the license plate of the car ahead, but not shine into the windows.

    • @BoiProduction
      @BoiProduction 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      That’s too dangerous. If it’s that low then he won’t be able to see what’s ahead of him. Keep in mind a lifted car is already going to blind most cars since they sit higher than normal.

    I have an questions, I have a 2022 Toyota Tacoma SR factory head light, bought at Amazon it’s Fahren Ursprung H11 LED Headlight Bulbs, 14000 Lumens 6500K. And I did follow any instructions on internet said 25 feets walls, four feet’s horizontal. After that many cars all piss off at me keep pull over and when I stop red light and cross another side by red light, this second times two different car’s headlight turn flashlight on me. And sometimes drive two opposite lanes keep flashlight on me too. People think my led light bulbs think it’s high beams. I’m very upset because I don’t want bother them or keep flashlights on me. I don’t get it! What I can to do?

    • @Runnin4Tacos
      @Runnin4Tacos  ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, I do not know how the other brands of H11's perform. Check to see if you are aiming too high. Try aiming it downwards some more.

    I have a 2018 Tacoma that is slightly lifted, mainly because of bigger tires. From the ground to the middle of my headlights is 42 1/2 inches. What should my heighth be on the wall that I should be lowering/raising my lights to?
