Hello Quentyn, I'm new to RFID and interested in this and for sure I'm going to get few of the tools you have, from your videos I see that a Chameleon can interact with an RFID reader and emulate a card directly from the reader. Can Proxmark emulate a card from the reader the same as Chameleon, they say that Proxmark can emulate as well but what I find is emulating a card from a noon good card but not emulating a card directly from the reader or performing an reader attack.
How do i turn my chameleon mini on. Do i have to use a computer first it doesn't come on useless i have it plugged into a portable battery but it doesn't connect.

i would always suggest going for the real thing as then its always going to work. I had an RDV3 clone which seemed to work but the antennas ( apart from being mislabelled on the PCB :) ) worked but not all that well
if you search for the keyfob type and "proxmark" there is a thread on the forum from 2015 indicating that a simple lf search and then treat as a t55x may work

Good morning and thanks for the videos! One question ... on which of these readers / writers is it possible to copy a Mifare Plus?
proxmark with iceman build says it can - i dont have a mifare plus to try with but that would be my 1st place to try

Can you use the Chameleon as a reader?
yes you can, but its abilities ( in the current generation not ultra) are limited compared to the proxmark

High there, I'm really interested in fully cracking a 4K mifare card, do I need a 4K magic card to duplicate it?
yes you do - you can get them on lab401 but they are not cheap. I have a few and i guard them carefully

there isnt such a thing as a masterkey as every system is different thankfully
