For legitimate Mifare chips it is not possible because sector 0 is read-only. However there are "magic" chips that come from China that allow you to write to sector 0. There are various "generations" or versions of these chips, and each enables writing to sector 0 in a different way. When I type in "ls" like you did, instead of showing "proxmark3/", it says "lf_unknown_2022-01-20-09 lf_unknown_2022-01-21_08 lf_unknown_2022-01-21_09 proxmark3/" Is that bad? (does the same thing if I type in "dir".)

The proxmark3 is an investigative research tool you can use to do many things with.. getting someone's credit card information is technically possible using this tool but there are far easier and more practical ways to get at credit card information. If you work with RFID transponders at all, this is *the* tool to use.
