Paradise bungalow booked in advanced is 50 euros a night and has all you can eat breakfast. If you go via ferry you can bring your own snacks and alchohol in your luggage. You can get around via bus for 2 euros per way. Even at an average 500 euro greek salary you can definitely have fun at mykonos for very a cheap weekend because Tropicana and paradise club has no cover charge.
This guy in the video is literally the definition of a tourist trap. Mykonos is cheap as hell if you know your way around and actually talk to the locals.

If you're not a rich pretty young thing I'd skip Mykonos for less crowded, less generic, more rustic Greek islands...there are lots of them. As always your content is AAA rated. The great thing about Greece is there are another 226 inhabited islands to visit and they aren't all ridiculously expensive and overcrowded. And a lot of them are even more beautiful than Mykonos.
I just got back home from Mykonos and it was not a problem to find a meal for under 20 euros per person, and you could get a gyro for 4,5 in Mykonos town. But other than that, great video!

I visited the neighbouring close island with archeological remains, did a guided tour of Mykonos including visiting a farm where you sample the local produce. I also stayed in very affordable accommodation for a few nights & walked the highlights of Mykonos town. Think I availed of public transport to get to my final destination where I was boarding a sailing trip to Santorini and ate at a very affordable, nice restaurant. I reckon some of those places you showed me are for posers & not my scene anyway. You can avoid getting sucked into that if you want.

You will also experience authentic Mediterranean cuisine that all other regions in the Mediterranean have falsely claimed are too. Cretan cuisine is the authentic Mediterranean cuisine. The study for Mediterranean cuisine looked at solely Cretan cuisine. I am very sorry to say this but Mykonos has very little Greek left in it. Santorini is waayyy better. Many of the services you experienced with such high prices are not even owned by Greeks and many have ties to the underworld; it is a money laundering machine.
yes, and unfortunately its only going to get more expensive! and more tacky, and more touristy and LESS AND LESS GREEK! id say in 50 years, it will look like a MEGA MALL...all modern designer shops in clean old buildings. , starbucks and tacobell, and GUCCI... and just to clean and perfect it will look like a MALL in las vegas... and sadly most of the hot european places will too... but sadly, BALI, PHUKET in 50 years time too.. will also be RICH ONLY tours...
I hope those are inflation prices, but I know they’re not…beautiful video, destination on my list, but the prices are a reminder why I love Southeast Asia.

I was there in April and what I recommend doing when you get off the ferry is to take the boat to city centre. It costed like 5 euro

peak season prices. Mykonos is always expensive but if you go in October its much more affordable
