You should not miss for any reason Polyaigos island that is near Milos. There are daily cruises that sail around Milos and also visit Blue Waters (Galazia Nera) at Polyaigos. You cannot find anything like this at Milos, its breathtaking! Also a day trip to Kimilos, a small island next to Milos is highly recommended ! it's very beautiful! You should definitely return some day!

Congrats on 2M.... epic man. Watched this after your Santorini video, have to agree, this looked like a lot more fun and enjoyable holiday, more chilled, less tourists, lots of great restaurants and views. You've also convinced my wife who was adamant to go to santorini so thank you.
As someone who went on a mini moon to Santorini a few weeks ago, I could only say I wish I listened to my Greek friends and went to Milos instead. Santorini is beautiful, but overhyped for no great reason in my view. It is too pricey and too touristy. The scenery is stunning and the wine experiences are amazing (and I don't drink much). Santorini is worth visiting once, it's just not the magic that it's advertised as.
@@veronicaivanova thank you for confirming, I always suspected it would be the case, but it did look nice so not something worth disputing. But with so many Greek islands, seems rude to all go to the same one.

Went to Athens in 2004 and was told that Milos was not as touristy and where the Greeks like to go themselves - we jumped at the opportunity and swapped our initial itinerary for Milos and fell in love with the entire island - very memorable. At the end of the day you have to go to Santorini but if you are looking for a 2nd island with a completely different vibe - then you cannot beat Milos
As a Greek I can say that this is a really unique island that you should visit. It gets very popular during July or August

Fun fact I am from Milos I live there full time 365 days a year and I love it !!!!!! Living here ever since I was born also Tisgrado beach isn't naturally made my father used to work as a trucker and the left over Perlitis ( type of dirt ) he and his colleagues duped to that place the Perlitis was from the quarry uphill!!!!
