    In the few short years since the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria formed, it has done the seemingly impossible, seizing vast areas of the Middle East to form a mini-state it calls a reincarnation of the ancient Caliphate. It is at war with all its neighbors and virtually the entire world, yet someone remains, and is launching increasingly deadly terror attacks abroad.
    To understand how this terrible group came about and how it has grown so powerful, you need to understand the story behind its rise. And that is a story that goes back decades, to long before ISIS existed.

    Stop calling terrorists scholars, they are not scholars, they are not on the same methodology and understanding of the religion as the scholars of present and past, including the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ). They are ignorant rebels who's confident way of speaking makes people who are disconnected from islamic knowledge even more disconnected and follow them in their innovated understanding. The original understanding of Islam is still present, clear and easily accessible, but they refuse to follow it because what they want to follow is their desires. The Prophet (ﷺ) insisted on seeking knowledge and warned against innovation in religion but they are far from being scholars and deep in innovation.

    • @spy_puts
      @spy_puts 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Alpharite Well they make it out to seem like the Soviets were manipulating Afghanistan and wanted to keep them under their influence, which is what lead to the rise of militant religious groups, but they were just on good terms to begin with because the Soviets trained and educated the communists who took over Afghanistan in the first place and gave them monetary aid. Afghanistan seemed to be shaping up to be a pretty decent and progressive place had it not been for the PDPA's really harsh crushing of opposition. Those who made up the Mujaheddin would still be angry at the PDPA for the way that they arrested and killed the priests in the villages.
      Also you can't really dismiss someone as a conspiracy theorist if they are just pointing out cultural prejudices and not an actual conspiracy (a group who physically conspires to do something).

The Soviets never invaded us, we had a policy of containment against communism and funded diverse right-wing groups or extremists that were against communism too. Afghanistan 79'-89' was no payback for Vietnam, it was just another war of containment. America might not be the only one, but we are sure heavily influencing the course of history, and I'm saying this as an American.

      @@daidus4689 (1) We just killed _another_ ISIS caliph from the American Camp Bucca prison, literally like yesterday. Almost all of these senior ISIS/Nusra leaders were released from American or Jordanian prisons, and I've seen zero released by Assad.
      (2) John Kerry while Obama's SecState, Jan 2017:
      “The reason Russia came in is because ISIL was getting stronger, Daesh was threatening the possibility of going to Damascus and so forth. And that’s why Russia went in. Because they didn’t want a Daesh government and they supported Assad.
      “And we know that this was growing. We were watching. We saw that Daesh was growing in strength, and we thought Assad was threatened. We thought, however, we could probably manage, that Assad would then negotiate. Instead of negotiating, he got Putin to support him.”
      Should be videos of Kerry admitting all this on TH-cam.
      (3) Kerry said similar revealing things about Nusra, but a nicer example is Jake Sullivan (Biden's National Security Advisor) writing to Hillary about how "AQ is on our side in Iraq." Obviously that shared side wasn't about humanitarian concerns. By late 2012 everyone knew Nusra had the dominant fighters among Western "rebels," and the type of funding program Hillary wanted was implemented by the CIA as "Timber Sycamore."
      The US Obama Admin and CIA were deeply involved in supporting a war meant to tear Syria apart. And the hypocritical finger pointing by fanboys of the US security state and Obama and Hillary supporters has been maddening.
      (Not blaming Biden for this, since he was opposed to Hillary's policies in Syria, opposed to Hillary on Libya, and opposed to supporting the Saudi attack on Yemen... although I'd judge his work on Ukraine far less leniently. And IDK why Biden picked Blinken to be his SoS, when Blinken was the guy who talked Biden into voting for the Iraq War; or why he hired Sullivan as NSA, when I've seen nothing that suggests he's qualified for that role. Biden picking these guys was about as weird as Trump picking John Bolton...)

      By oil, do you mean the oil under territory controlled by ISIS? If so, that number only amounts to 50,000 barrels a day, about the quantity demanded of a country the size of Bahrain. I propose a different theory: the Saudis and Qatars, according to the Washington Institute, Hillary Clinton, and the Washington Times, have funded ISIS and they also have some of the largest oil and natural gas reserves in the world. I feel these countries want a pipeline over the territory occupied by ISIS and explains the financing.

      Well yeah they didn't mention it in this video but I believe they have mentioned it in others and not hiding it. Not sure what exactly the video was about but "The US may be aiding war crimes in Yemen" (or something along those lines) sorta exposes this and I believe that since they have made a video like that, they wouldn't outright hide the fact that yes, the US provided these countries with weapons. Maybe they forgot, it wasn't really the point of this video it was more about ISIS and not the details but idk.

      +CuddlyAssassin Iran? Iran is shia, ISIS hates and kills shia muslims. Doesn't make sense my friend. Iran supports the shia government in Iraq which ISIS hates.

      +Vitoman901 Individuals in Iran, not the government, there are some people who do not support the current regime in Iran (it's not much but its an okay amount.)
