Magnus looked pretty sick to be there. Didn't Hans already stop the match earlier because he thought his clock was skipping ahead? Dude practically had scratch marks all over his neck, he was zooted. Did they ever even confirm he had lag issues? He might have made that up

Niemann claims that he will be the best when "older" guys, like Magnus, move on. He forgets that there are younger players than him who are already better than him. Gukesh, Praggna, Nodirbek to name a few.

Also, Hans is not on the same trajectory as Magnus and Hikaru were at age 21. He acts like the only reason those guys are better is experience, but by the time Magnus was Hans’s current age, he’d been the #1-rated player in the world for nearly two years.
I don’t know how some of his games are so different in terms of skill….its like someone else is playing

I don't get why Niemann keeps trash talking. This ain't Boxing or MMA where poeple buy tickets or has pay per view for you to hype up the fight. It's as if he just want to make a name for himself by any means, but in chess the only thing you need to do is git gud and your performance will speak for its self.
