How do you do this if you just order the set online? I am about to buy one but it doesn't look like my lego store has a mosaic maker

3:02 It's kind of weird how they just open the box like this. Why seal the box when the photo will be put inside?

I think they sealed them at the factory for transport. It makes sense for them to leave it open in that sense, but makes even more sense to seal it so nothing gets lost or stolen

$100+ for a black and white pixel art photo and a box of the exact same 1 layer of bricks. And the box is pre filled. The ugly photo is the only custom part of it. Disappointed
