Great reaction! 😊 RIP always to Carl Weathers & Bob Barker! This is easily one of my all-time favorite Adam Sandler, and favorite hockey movies. And the Bob Barker fight scene is my absolute favorite scene in this movie along with Happy and Chubbs practicing at the mini golf course. Looking forward to the next reaction. 😊
Fun Fact: 32:55 For this scene in which Chubbs falls out the window, during one take, Weathers reportedly hit his back on the wall, not the stunt bags - and he felt “excruciating pain” for years afterward, calling the experience “debilitating
Fun Fact: 26:51 By the way, Barker’s martial arts training? It was with his neighbor Chuck “Insert Chuck Norris Joke Here” Norris. In the script, Happy was supposed to emerge from the scuffle victorious, but Barker told Sandler, “I train with Chuck, we train every night, and he helps me with my punches and my kicks,” adding, “I would love to do this, but I have to win this fight.” Ya Jackass. th-cam.com/video/pz4w4C-oZfc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JEiDB_qt6RtDs_lj
OMG i always knew that Sandler movies were embedded with kindness, but when you said "poor alligator" for the first time i realized THAT'S WHY THE ALLIGATOR COMES BACK AT THE END, to let us know he's okay, he was just being an alligator. Adam Sandler deserves 10k× more credit than he gets for doing funny positivity.
So, here are the reasons I love Frances Bay, she played Happy’s grandmother. She lived to be 92, passed away in 2011, but guess what- she acted through the age of 91 on a popular TV series. She acted in 181 different movies and TV shows, how amazing it must have been to work with her. I hope she is resting in peace.
It's so funny that Kevin Nealon is that chill in real life. Not as mellowed out, but close. I went to New York City on a school trip Christmas of my junior year of high school, so 2006. We happened to have the opportunity to meet him and be in one of his shots for his Funniest Commercials show. Such a nice guy.
Grew up with this movie and still absolutely love it! So many classic Adam Sandler scenes/lines and still one of my Top 5 favorites he stars in. Actually didn't know that Lee Trevino was really a pro golfer before this video though, I had only ever recognized him from this movie, but that just makes it funnier now, lol. R.I.P. Carl Weathers and Bob Barker.
This and Billy Maddison and really all of the Adam Sandler flicks were pretty much my entire 6th-8th grade years and the summer leading to my first year in high school.
The thing I like about this movie is Shooter McGavin actually became a real-world celebrity in a way. for example when the actor is out playing golf add a charity event or something like that he actually goes into the shooter McGavin character
I quote this movie all the time…from the Meestah Meestah lady, to Happy, to Shootahh 👉, to one of my favorite to quote Ben Stiller’s character. “My fingers hurt….OH well next YOUR BACK IS GONNA HURT CAUSE YOU JUST PULLED LANDSCAPING DUTY!.” And even the random a hole at the golf course “The club went further than the ballll!”
I think it’s so awesome that Bob Barker said he’d only be in the movie if he won the fight against Happy Gilmore! It’s even better years later, in a short video, Adam Sandler goes to see Bob Barker at the hospital and they end up fighting again! 🤣🤣🤣
I’m really thinking that at tte end, that was a subtle little Star Wars reference (Lincoln/his (fore)father, Chubbs/Obi wan, and the alligator/yoda….) and even lined up the same way as the ghosts were in return of the Jedi
Christopher McDonald did a couple tv movie sequels to Midnight Run back in the 90s that I really enjoy and highly recommend to anyone that's a fan of him. Also, he was friggin' hilarious in Superhero Movie.
If you guys haven't seen Grandma's Boy(2006) I highly suggest reacting to it. It stars Allen Covert, a bunch of other actors I'm sure you'll recognize, and is funny AF.😃
Vodka and grapefruit sledgehammer over ice. Several J's pre rolled..Ipod on full blast. Golf is fun. Another great golf film was a true story that was released by Disney I think. "The Greatest Game Ever Played". About Francis Ouimet. #movietitle
Awesome to see you both watching this Movie. Also it was nice talking and seeing you again Rob. Funny how you are so against wanting to meet up, when I asked in the past. But when you are at a certain job. You are fine chatting it up with me. (probably cause you have to) Peace! Keep up the amazing work and the Job. Again I am pretty harmless.
Funny how all reactors to this movie are in shock when they see the winners taking home 200k when nowadays the winner of even the weakest tournament takes home at least a million lol. The Tiger effect.
Late to the party is real awesome Robert such a incredible cool smart guy Vanessa you are as gorgeous super sweet lovely tremendously terrific and beautiful as you always are but I do love your smile and the way you laugh keep it up you guys to me yall are #1 as far as I'm concerned 0:22
11:25 Personally I don’t think prick is the right term here. In my opinion Chris McDonald as Shooter and Hart Bochner as Ellis in the movie Die Hard are in a deadlocked tie for biggest douche in cinema history.
@@LatetotheParty It’s a terrible, tacky, slightly misogynistic term, but if the shoe fits…. The “canoe” modifier may even be compulsory in these two instances.

Happy Gilmore FULL MOVIE WATCH ALONG @ th-cam.com/video/gO1tDyrvfs4/w-d-xo.html
RIP, Carl Weathers and Bob Barker. They were awesome in this movie.
And also Frances Bay and Richard Kiel 😢
R.I.P TO CARL WHETHERS AND BOB BARKER
This is Adam Sandler at his best imo
32:06 This line stuck with me and gets me every time. Ever since I seen this movie in 1996. *"YOUR GONNA DIE CLOWN!!!"*
Grizzly Adams did have a beard. lol🤭
RIP Bob Barker and Carl Weathers.
Shooter McGavin: "So you decided to headbud Bob Barker? Uh, who won that fight, anyway?"
You've seen Happy Gilmore and Little Nicky in reverse order? Do you even remember the post-Happy Gilmore Carl Weathers cameo in Little Nicky?
Great reaction! 😊
RIP always to Carl Weathers & Bob Barker!

I cried when Carl Weathers started singing...RIP Mr. Weathers.

Arguably the most wholesome movie in his entire catalog
Sandler at his BEST
what about the waterboy
“They were cluubs” 😂😂

Bob Parker fight is insanely good. Its perhaps top 3 movie fights for me.
I feel like... this movie is a great story told through comedic dialogue, as opposed to most spoofs which use a movie template just to tell jokes.
A forgotten Adam Sandler comedy is Bulletproof!!! You guys would probably like that one.
We put it on the poll every time, and it always loses. It's so underrated. Vanessa will get a kick out of it for sure. - Robert
@@LatetotheParty have you guys ever had The Ref on a poll? Another forgotten gem! Probably Denis Learys best movie in my opinion.

Damn, Allen Covert has been in 22 Adam Sandler movies!.
And his best role didn't even have Adam Sandler in it. #GrandmasBoy
Carl Weathers says he was a golf instrctor on Earth in his scene in Little Nicky. So it was the same Character lol "Its all in the hips" ❤
30:45 One of my favorite comebacks/reactions that has always made me laugh throughout all these years 😂
Pixels and 50 first dates are my two personal favorites.
Such a classic, still makes me laugh hard... So fun seeing Vanessa watch it for the first time haha
Director Dennis Dugan was in the 1981 Horror The Howling with Dee Wallace.
The Howling is on the list.
If you don't know, Director Dennis Dugan is the head of the golf tour in the movie. He puts the publicist with Happy to watch over him.
We say that.
@@LatetotheParty I caught that Lol. Sorry.

My favourite Adam Sandler movie ever thanks for the funny reactions
First time I saw Happy Gilmore was in a home room class in middle school where I suspect the teacher had given up.
Saw it in an art class in middle school as well. - Robert
Christopher McDonald did a couple tv movie sequels to Midnight Run back in the 90s that I really enjoy and highly recommend to anyone that's a fan of him. Also, he was friggin' hilarious in Superhero Movie.
The rye is one of my favorite Seinfeld episodes 😂
0:02 did even see a little white ball hit him must’ve been a sound effect they added so it sounded like the ball hit them
i had this on vhs as well growing up!
One of my favorite comedy movies
Yesss!! Love the Karl Pilkington shirt btw! Great reaction as always! Rest in peace, Carl Weathers😢
I had "Going Overboard" on VHS. It is not remembered fondly. Lol.
It had to be torture to sit there and *not* quote this movie. XD
Definitely was torture!
Action Jackson with Carl weathers is a must watch action movie!!!!

chubbs repeats himself a lot
made of wood, real sturdy, real sturdy

Billy Madison is my favorite, but this one is so great too
I wish I had a Eat Subway for Life card, as many times I've eaten a meatball marinara sandwich!! 😁
those sandwitches are good!
Christopher Macdonald also plays a prick in Dirty Work, you should watch that too!

At least the Nail that he had on his head is now gone so that's good news 38:08

I think it was an inside joke that the real reason Chubs was missing an arm is because he got it shot off Predator.
