After working on the Evo 5 for months, we finally got to drive if for real up in the smoky mountains! The car performs flawlessly, handled amazing, and did everything we ever hoped it would do! We made small adjusts to the LinkECU, tire pressures on out Nittos and Bc coilovers we had the car dialed for over 300 miles of mountain shredding!!

THIS is what TH-cam build content should be. Putting a car together for the purpose of going to go shred it in the mountains or on track. I'm so tired of builds that are just in the garage and then they're onto the next one

❤ the EVO build & content! Though I am a bit biased being an old 4G63'er. This vid really makes me miss the roads back home in Rockland County NY growing up in the 90's! Knew so many amazing roads all over the Tri-State area. One day I will make it to a proper Touge with my GVR-4...I love living in Florida but these roads are a bit too lifeless. Keep up the great work, can't wait for more like this!

Oddly enough, I currently have 320 TW Tyres on my Evo, as well as BC Racing BR Series Coilovers and my tyres squeal just like yours through corners.

The car seems to be rotation happy which is what an Evo should be like, sick build Chelsea, perfect gearing too, some grippier tires and yoy would have smashed the dragon even harder

With an Evo you want to brake a little earlier so you can be on throttle through the whole corner..

@@chelseadenofa ahh haha. I was going on a car trip to tennesse at the beginning of October. So I’ve just been trying to save some good roads. Usually every time I go I’ve got my girlfriend who hates spirited driving.
What’s the deal with the sweepstakes? Nobody has been announced, it’s removed from the site, starting to look like a scam to me. I want my money back or know who won the evo.
It's through Autozone, I built and promoted the sweepstakes. A little different than the other personal ones. The winner has been reached out too. They are required to sign some paper work before taking delivery of the car. I'll let you guys know as soon as the winner is actual.
