Enjoy your channel. Two minor questions: 1) how far up on legs to you make the dado cut?, 2) depth of leg dados- should the be 1/2 of the thickness, (eg 1/2 of 3/8)? Assuming legs are same 3/8 thickness of Cartier bottom.
The dado begins 1/2" from the bottom of the leg. The legs are 1/2" thick. The dado is cut 1/4" deep and 3/8" tall to accommodate the coaster bottom. Thanks for watching, Jim 🙂
