As a fellow Alaskan, don't look back! Keep moving forward buddy. I'm rooting for your success. By the looks of your products you will do fine. Totally top of the line, first class.
You Sir, are one dedicated individual, a master of your craft, I’ve watched all your videos and can absolutely say I haven’t seen you settle for anything less than the best. From your biggest cutting boards to the coasters (which are time consuming beyond belief), I am blown away, keep up the great work, wishing you the best on the next step, I hope none of your products ever become rushed, Some say they live to work, Others say they work to live, I think you just “Love your work!” Isn’t that what we should all strive for….
Well done Kris. You have done a great job with the cutting boards, cheese boards and coasters. You have earned the opportunity of moving to a new shop and expanding your creative business. I'm jealous...LOL. Well done and done well.
The space efficiency is nothing less of inspiring. I feel like I would at least need a 3 car garage to do the things you do in a single. With that being said, we could all learn a few things from you here and I appreciate you sharing this with us!
Mate, you are a hero for the small workshop owner. I've been there in a tiny space. Man I felt pain when I saw how many sanding disks you laid out ready for the coaster. What I love and what people should notice is the care you take in setting things up. That's where the discipline is. Best of luck as you expand!
I almost feel exhausted every time I watch one of your videos, WOW, The time, the patience, the attention to detail, you are amazing and quite a craftsman. I love watching your videos. Thanks for taking the time to share it with us. Good luck with the new shop and I can’t wait to see the next video. Your daughter is absolutely precious and I love the relationship you are building with her. Take care, stay safe.
It's incredible to see you make so many new jigs and holders for specific steps in your production process. Very clever. Taking the time to make the right tools to do the job -- very impressive. And the results just look a feast!
Kris.... Your videos are like watching a great movie. We have to wait for 4 months but it's sooooo worth it. So happy and excited for you, your family, and the the new shop.... Thanks for sharing all of it with us.... Your wood work and video editing are phenomenal as usual also....

Yay! What an exciting time, your business is going to be a wonderful success. Enjoy the new space and many blessings to you and your family. Pace yourself!
By putting in so much attention to detail, plus the effort and perfectionist finishing, you will not have to compete with far eastern copies. Glad you charge a price that reflects how much of 'you' goes into your products. Well done artisan.
Time to setup, time to cleanup, organize sequence of work/workflow. I really enjoyed watching this. Congrats on transfering your hobby into a business and working effeciantly
My son and I are just getting into wood working together as a hobby. We are learning so much on TH-cam about wood working. Your wood working videos are our favorites. Please keep doing more wood working projects. Much success my friend.
I am speechless at your workmanship. You are an artist at your craft. Congratulations lad. And thanks for the inspiration. I am 66 and I have learned a ton from you.
I am so thrilled for your success! All the hard work and long hours have really paid off! And as excited as I am to watch you grow into your new space I'm also kind of bummed - you were my tiny workshop inspiration! I told myself if Kris DeVo can do it in a tiny shop I've got nothing to complain about! ;)
I’ve been in carpentry as a side craftsman for probably 30 years - initially taught by my Dad and later by TH-cam :). I love watching your videos .and learning from them. I made a batch of 17 cutting boards recently inspired by you and they came out beautiful. I absolutely love the beauty of wood colors and grains that reflects the very God who created it. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos and I absolutely love your work. Keep inspiring yourself and the next generation watching you. You are an encouragement and breath of fresh air to the world.
Kris I have watched since the early days! Couldn't be more proud of you buddy. You have worked so super hard. You deserve all the luck in the world for your new expansion. We are all on board with you and can't wait to see the next stage.
Second time watching this one. Love the work. Love the time lapses and getting footage on every little step. I know that has to add even more to the work load/time but wanted to let you know that it really makes it super on this end!
Awesome video, Pal. I'm in the process of starting my own woodworking side-hustle (several products including some cutting boards) that I hope to turn into a second career one day. Watching your videos is an inspiration, and I always learn something new. I'm excited to continue watching your adventure. Good luck, and thank you for taking us on this journey with you. It gives me hope for my own.
Kris, got my new coasters from you and WOW. They are so beautiful. I bought one set for myself and one for my Mom. She adores them, as do I. You are amazing and they are GORGEOUS!!!!
A couple of thoughts from someone who had a large shop, To save on time and efficiency, put your most used tools right next to each other. I know you're going to have a lot of space now but walking back and forth between tools can eat up a lot of time and energy. Also it would be a really good investment to have a cnc machine. You could do precision planing and some custom designs that aren't difficult to learn/cut. Best of luck with your endevour and looking forward to seeing more!
Just started making cutting, charcuterie boards and trivets a week or so ago. A passion has been born. I just discovered your channel. I’m an Alaska-born fellow living in Florida. I love you going through the steps, doing the time lapse, sped up parts, love the camera angles and the clever camera before/after lapse shots as you’re planing the glue ups and love you including your little girl in the video, showing her what daddy does. I just subscribed. You are definitely big scale building! I hope business does this well for me in the cutting board type field as well. Thanks for doing a great job on your videos

The workmanship is out of this world. I am so looking forward to using this masterpiece for cooking. It looks great in the kitchen. Couldn’t be more pleased

Kris, your an inspiration and an amazing teacher! As a fellow Alaskan, you may be aware of the not so fun effects of our winters... Last Winter I decided this was something I wanted to get into, to help with my Depression, overall, but especially during the darker winter days, when it’s especially easy to hunker down and do nothing. I’ve been slowly putting together my assortment of tools (not nearly enough, but is that even feasible...) over this last winter, summer and now I am working on getting the shop “winterized” and hoping to put together a waste oil heater here shortly, as the “shop” has electrical but no heat🥶. You video’s continue to inspire and push me to keep going, even tho most days I would rather sleep... So I just want to say, thank you. For continuing to not only follow this passion of yours, but also put such tremendous passion back into everything you do. It has been a bright light in my more often than not dark days. Thank you! Edit: One question I have, if you wouldn’t mind, and if you do and would prefer to not Divulge I understand and respect. Being a fellow Alaskan, where do you source your woods from? Again, thank you!
it's a pleasure to watch you put these beautiful woods together and finish them to perfection. I think I want a set of everything just admire the beauty of what you have done.

Oh my gosh. They are just beautiful! I love every one of them!
Thank you Adam! Best of luck to ya. Hardware specialties here in Alaska is where I get the hardwood from
