Nice to hear Chef JP talking in their own dialect in Bacolod. The accent sounds sweet just like those Guimaras mangoes. I'm also Negrense-born that's why my nickname is Toto but our family left Negros Occ I guess when I was 2 or 3 yrs old. But my parents were both fluent in speaking the dialect as well as my late-grandma. We visited Bacolod after how many years since we left on 2005 or 06 which is also my last. Nice to hear Chef JP talking in their own dialect in Bacolod. The accent sounds sweet just like those Guimaras mangoes. I'm also Negrense-born that's why my nickname is Toto but our family left Negros Occ I guess when I was 2 or 3 yrs old. But my parents were both fluent in speaking the dialect as well as my late-grandma. We visited Bacolod after how many years since we left on 2005 or 06 which is also my last.
