I don't know if anyone else on here has heard about Stacy Clark, but I just wanted to say I loved Ian's work on her debut album back in 2007. Finding out he has since collaborated with such big hitters blew my mind. His work on Dua, Britney, and now Charli's recent stuff is pristine. It's really cool to see him share a little about his process. You can tell he put in a ton of work by the way he goes over these layers and layers of production.

Sol state, thanks so much for these edits. We appreciate you!
I have a video idea that I feel only you are equipped to pull off.
All the essentials of a pop production from drums to bass, dives and throws to ear candy. You could use plenty of Ian’s work as examples. It could even be a series, starting with drums and working your way ‘up’.
A really deep dive into how to build a professorpop production
