The buildings in allies 01 are based on a game called command and conquer. its an RTS game made in the late 90's so thats why it may not translate as well into a first person perspective.
The quality of these videos are great. The animations and commentary only keep getting better. And yeah, good luck trying to recover from the trauma caused by the depths of the RF workshop.
Thanks! And yeah... itll be a long road to recovery. Doctor ordered an immediate game of freehold and to taper off with some starstrafe maps. I will be enjoying the safety of the frontpage for the near future
i have two unfinished maps sitting around my unity project, one based on the Antonov Airport assault and another set in a decrepit Steel mill ( somewhat similar to operation bastille ) seeing what my competition is i might as well try and finish that
Would be cool to see either of them finished!! Your operation bastille map did very well, currently sitting at the 260th for subscribers. I'd imagine maps of the same caliber would do great!
Really appreciate it! :) The map is allies_01 thick of it: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2215772432&searchtext= Also I realized I forgot to attach the map list in the description, so all the others are there as well!
ahhh so thats what that is. The title and thumbnail gave me zero expectations so I was quite shocked to load into this map lol. The map is this: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3273943286
i think that maybe is better not trying taking seriously those maps, everyone has to start somewhere who knows? maybe one of the guys that made these -abominations- maps become a good mapper someday, aside from the fact that surely those dudes are just children or people that dont have the most minimum knowledge in level design note aside, fun video, not only you have gained my suscription, you have also made me reinstall ravenfield and therefore selling my soul to steelraven for the 12th time this year
Hello, i love your videos and i have a question. What was the name of the map you played in Part 1 of this series. (The one you usually used as background footage of) Keep up the good work and i love your channel. Have a good day!
Hey! The main map is Starstrafe's Rail City: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3357222969 Highly recommend his other maps as well. Also thanks for the support!
Awesome video! Love this concept of exploring little known workshop maps, Id recommend you check out the game Easy Red 2 which has a built in mod/mission editor which leads to a very similar situation with thousands of unnamed and under developed levels
Glad you liked it! I've never heard of Easy Red 2 but it looks interesting, a little rough around the edges but hey, for 7 bucks looks like its worth checking out. thanks for the recommendation!
I love starstrafes maps, it blows my mind the work he can do with just the in game map editor. I used his "rail city" for the background in this video!
As much as i hoped to see my maps, every one that i have published was below middle effort and all the higher effort maps have been lost to windows reinstall. i hope the map im making will make it through development hell, perfectionism addons and inbuilt map maker shenanigans to actually be released one day.
Right now I use LeMieux's gore mod for ragdoll control, as it has a ragdoll mass multiplier that I find helps with the more "realistic" body drop. I've currently got that set at 10 for mass multiplier, 0 spring, 3 stiffness. Honestly this is reminding me I need to research more on the actual effects of these 3 components, but yeah that's what I'm currently running!
The specific one in this vid was Entertainment Map III: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3018335622 Here were others that I found in my search but haven't played so I'm unsure if they are good/work: 多人跳跳乐 一: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2934598123 Parkour Obby (WIP): steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2943467065 Also, for Entertainment Map 3 I'd recommend getting the grappling hook mod or a teleporter gun mod to get past certain obstacles, since the map was intended to be used with the titanfall movement mod, which unfortunately no longer exists on the workshop.
Turkish Weapon Pack: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2964400627 I know absolutely nothing about turkish guns but I do know they look nice and play well in rf
Я не люблю большую часть карт в Равенфилде из за того что часто картой является остров.Мне кажется что из за этого карта ощущается как то фальшиво(мне по крайне мере)

ahhh okay! That makes a lot of sense, thanks for letting me know
Thank you for your efforts, no one who subjected themselves to the depths of the workshop can truly recover from them
I am a different person now. The front page of the workshop has never looked so beautiful
I'm not joking, this is great content!!! 10/10
Thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it :)

Now this is some serious dedication! Great video as always.
Thanks :D
I think Low Poly Adventure was broken because of EA25 to EA26 engine transition, since I had subbed maps that suffered the same problem.
The map did release prior to EA26, and it would also explain the map's oddly high view-to-sub ratio. Seems quite likely to be the issue, great catch!

finally, non-slop ravenfield content
How have I not found you sooner? These videos are good stuff
Man, you have the dedication and skill of those multi-million subs, love the content bro! Keep it up! (Btw what is the map that you played on 7:13)
Really appreciate it! :)

The Map at 1:58 is a map from another game called Simple planes, i forgot what the actual island name was but its real!
yeah wow it totally is! Never played it before but explains why the map is so odd haha
Loving this series man! :》
play Caspian border from bf4 or operation locker. They should be really fun
I've played caspian border but not yet tried an operation locker map in rf. I'll give it a shot!
4:41 They made an updated synthwave map

there are ome quite good ones made by vanilla game editor such as starstrafes maps and coast lock 1

My biggest memory of Vaporwave is the leafyishere outro. Also, where tropical islands in this video tho?
I thought about including more of his maps, but really none of his other mods can top the goat status of tropical islands
You should make a video on Ravenfield's optimization and compare it to other games.
What weapon pack or you using they look swagful
