Yes thanks for posting, important history of carp fishing in this country and Chris is part of all that.
Fantastic stuff - with the best teller of fishing tales in the land 🎣 Thank you 🙏
Speaking as a historian and obsessive angler, these films are absolutely priceless. Superb!
Wonderful recollections of a great man. 👍👍
Superb piece of carp history💯🎣
Fantastic watch.
It’s excellent to think that tales like this are recorded.
Thanks for posting. A legend!
Great video just subscribed 🎣🎣
Wonderful stuff..
"I'd be interested to see,the Dagenham-Lake 'entry' as l always
thought the Richard Walker Common from there was a 'Galacian' (Leney) !".
When Chris B,was alive I tried to find out through Skeff if the original stocking of Shillamill in the early 70s ,poss mid..were Donald Leney fish..
All the fish I caught there until it was ottered looked very similar to some of those leney distributed caught ...
I'd love to find out but I guess I'll never know..
It would be nice if some of the records could be put on line, but I guess folk don't want people to know where they all went. When I lived in Willington I was made aware of Leney Carp from Hilton being moved by the old Gravel works employees into their club gravel pits in Derbyshire area, I have pictures of fish which were supposedly Leney fish.
