An interesting challenge. I tried and although it didn't rise properly because I used a non-stick pan, the taste is good enough such that I will be trying it again. If you're going to make this, make sure you use a regular aluminum pan (do NOT use a non-stick pan). Also, make sure that when you're folding the meringue and the other mixture, that you use a whisk like she did. I used a spatula and it probably contributed to the non-rising. As for the coffee, I used 2 tsp of coffee granules in the whipped cream. End result of cake was quite nice...not overly sweet. Sweetness level is similar to most Chinese whipped cream cakes. Would have been nice to provide a properly written out recipe along with the video. I had to type my own out before baking.
