Well Worn LUCCHESE Gator Cowboy Boots Full Restoration

Some internal work on these Lucchese boots. We patched the worn footbeds, replaced the fabric gemming, and rewelted before adding Vibram 700 brown cork soles.

Great video sir, its great to see skilled crafstmen still partaking in these time honored labors. Sad to though that Lucchese's quality has dropped, a synthetic footbed is a real down especially forvonevof their top of the line boots.

That's not the handmade line. No lemon pegs. Probably the 1883 line. Maybe made in Mexico. Possibly an older 2000 line. Surprised they used Gator.

do you need to use a size larger sole for a snip toe boots then normal or how does sizing work when resoleing ??most of my boots are that shape tho i would love to get them redone to be a almond or dound toe cant find anyone that is willing to even do that but would also love to put some rubber soles on as well cuz i ride a motorcycle
