Malin and Tom
This week we've made the decision to take on a big vanlife challenge - building our own toilet! We're upgrading our van's cassette toilet to a DIY compost toilet. It might not be fancy and it might be difficult, but hopefully it'll be worth it! And whatever happens - it'll be a fun challenge.

Who are we?
------
We are a young 'Swenglish' adventure family, that consists of Swedish Malin, English Tom, and babies Charlie & Isabella, who are half and half. We love all kinds of adventures, including travelling around Sweden and beyond in our self-built campervan called Sunny, we're currently travelling the warmer climates of southern Europe and are glad to be cancer-free, after a rough battle with colon cancer.

Two of my most favorite people. Always enjoy seeing the little ones so happy and full of life. I can’t believe how Blonde little girls hair has gotten. Tom, she looks just like you and Charlie looks like you Malin. So precious. I’m so excited that you’re getting a lot of orders. You do an amazing job in Crocheting these precious animals. I’ve got to place an order asap. But will not be in any hurry to get them. I use to crochet during the Winter months. You’ve encouraged me to get my needles out, buy some yarn and get with back into crocheting blankets. Oh wow! You two young ones can do this big challenge and I know the compost toilet will come out remarkably great. Any plans on traveling more before Charlie starts ? Preschool. Have a great wkend and week. We always love hearing from you Karla 🧡 we’re back in Sweden until the end of the summer, then the plan is to head south for the winter to do a bit more travelling before Charlie’s starts school (plus some big exciting events next year!)

I think you are wise to build your own, I bought a natures head, it was very expensive , it is good, but to be honest I think a bucket system would of been better for me, it does work well, but when you need to replace parts (fan etc) it is very expensive. If I had my time again I would do what you are doing :) good luck 🤞
