  • In this video, I will focus on data extraction from STAAD, how we can extract any information like geometry, section or specification data or detail load information from a STAAD model, which can be further utilized in any third party application, even for drawing generation purpose.
    Automation is the use of technology to perform different task where we can minimize the human input. 3D analysis and design software STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition is equipped with an API library - OpenSTAAD using which we can automate different process and link any custom template/automation tool to STAAD. This helps us to minimize the modelling, analysis and design time and also help in data transfer process. In this video, I have discussed about few automation techniques related to modelling.
