thanks for the video! but oh man those clips are hard to remove. The giant metallic trim was easier to remove from the left. I broke some pins on the pasenger side /middle trim tho, was too tight on top...
Hey can I get a tip I have a 2017 Kia optima with the knobs I want to upgrade to oem kia optima bigger screen without the knobs would it just be a easy swap or would I have to rewire the stereo to make the bigger screen one without the knobs to work
I have read that 2016 and up are supposed to all be the same? Do you know if that is true or not? I have a 2018 Optima but my factory had unit the display screen is a lot bigger than yours and everything is touchscreen. It does not have any knobs at all but other than that it looks very similar.
Did you get under the hood? I've got a 16 Optima and I'm trying to upgrade the alt but there is a fuse on the battery..how do I go about getting around that ?
the reverse cam will be plug and play if you have the proper harness and it comes with the a rca video on it which metra sells the bluetooth will not but the aftermarket headunit should have bluetooth so no need to retain the factory

Removal for me was the same. I have the larger screen too.
