So the usb cable is for charging your phone or if you’re having bad experience with wireless CarPlay, you can plug in your phone and use wired CarPlay. Sometime wireless CarPlay can be very glitchy. Also if your passenger needs to charge their phone they can use that as well or if you don’t want your passengers to connect to your radio via Bluetooth you can just let them use the usb to stream their music through.

There’s an harness you can get to make Sirius xm work! And my FM on one of my cars was working without antenna but it wasn’t too clear at certain zones especially when parked under a place like parking garage.

@@DanniAlv I believe you got the basic one without CarPlay. They have multiple options and if you select few and look at the pic, it shows all the features it has. Some don’t have CarPlay as an option if you look at the pictures.

Checking the seller website reviews some pictures show this unit not being flush with the dash trim but sticking out over and inch. Why is there this difference??

It could be many reasons. 1. Probably hasn’t been setup yet through the settings. 2. The radio doesn’t support to retain steering wheel functions and would need additional harness to retain it.

Sound worked great no issue at all. I didn’t play any sound on the video due to copyright purposes because TH-cam would block my video if I played and music sadly. And mine worked without doing anything. Basically was plug and play.
Radio seemed to be good when I messed with it during the installation. But I’m not sure as it’s a friends car so I haven’t been using it after the installation.

Only AliExpress sells the dashkit so look on there and see which one is for your optima. Some optima requires different dashkit so just confirm which one fits yours.

1. Didn’t take too long as I install radios all the time. It was pretty much plug and play. 2. No squeaky noises 3. It’s definitely worth upgrading. I love the android radios as you can literally do anything. It’s basically a tablet so you can download Netflix and watch movie as long as you have internet connection. 4. Yes you can retain backup cameras but you have to get a 12v to 6v step down in order to make it work. Search “retain factory backup camera” on TH-cam and you’ll see tons of videos on it.

@@Djrulez203 yeah my setup is exactly like that. OK do you see the five holes in the frame? Did you notice screws in those or how was the radio mounted to the frame because I don’t see threads in those holes that was throwing me off

@@MaurícioSouza80s ye luckily this radio was plug and play and you plug right into the wire that was plugged into the radio originally! I’m not sure about subwoofer as I’ve never done that before personally. It’s too complicated haha. Maybe one day I’ll do it.

I took my Kia to upgrade to this radio model and the steering wheel function stops working after a minute or so do you have any idea why?

It all depends on if your car has factory amp, backup camera, etc. this one was base model so just basic wire harness.

If you just got it then I would return it and get another one. You must’ve got a defective piece. I haven’t had any issues with this one.

@@Tattedrob91 the radio came with screws and used that to mount it to the frame. The screws went on both sides of the radio

Not too sure. This was a base model optima so didn’t really have to worry about it. What year optima you got?

Nope I ran the wire behind the dash and out from the glovebox and through the side door seals to the dash.

There was another harness that came with the radio that you plug into back of the radio and then you can plug your cables to the harness.
