i wired my factory back up camera into my Kenwood no problem, just military spliced a couple wires. Also used a Maestro interface for my steering wheel controls and seemed a lot easier than what you have going on.
Would have liked to see the camera connections at the head unit,I know Pioneer cameras work well with Pioneer head units as they have a brown rca connection for just Pioneer cameras(I think).Wondering where you pick up reverse signal and power and ground.
So took me awhile to understand this till I saw this video he led the reverse connection with an added wire directly to the reverse lights and the camera is powered by accessory

I drive a 2013 optima SX. I recently ordered the 6200nex. What do I need to make the factory rear view camera work with this new head unit? Or is it just a matter of unplugging something from the stock head unit and placing it in the new one?
NAMELESS STEEL go to Google Images ND type "2015 Kia (your car name) radio speaker diagram" it should have many options and layouts of the same info you need. just pick the best one you understand
what up Looouuu ya some time the axxess give problems but you can some time fix them with the date receiver the hook up to the software update module programer. there are other one you can use try Pac.
So let me get this right , most of the video your telling the installer how to remove the panels from memory of reading the instructions ! Seems like you could have done this your self . Just saying
Loudizzzzle How does one apply a firmware update to a harness? And the Maestro actually works now? I'm having a very difficult time getting the actual steering wheel controls to work with the PAC.
This is basically worthless for anyone really, but a tiny help for someone with the same basic car that needs to see how some of those trim pieces come off. As for installing that camera, zero help.
so many rookie mistakes not using bullet connectors instead to make servicing down the road easier with out having to cut wires. 2 not using tesa tape to clean up the harness, 3 not connecting the red and black from the camera to the red and black of the stereo harness instead. 4 powering the camera from the reverse lights see mistake 3. no reason to need run that purple to the back lights run the purple from the camera trigger wire green purple right to the trigger wire on the drivers floor board of course use your tester to find that wire. 5 not actually spending the few bucks it cost for wire loom heck its what 6 bucks for 100 ft of 1/4 inch.

You should of done the crux 65e works excellent or pac harness ive done tons of optima.

I have a '14 optima and it took me like a month to get the steering wheel controls working right 😂 looking into adding a backup camera now.
Nice, I will keep watching as I have a 2015 hyundai sonata probably most likely use all of the same wiring adapters.

Hey diz you need that box just use the key 2 wire with pin for on connector b and you can use the swc

I used the hybl-04 harness in my 2014 kia optima everything works but no sound outta speakers

Apparently not.
It turned into a long mission. Too much to film. The harness and also Maestro SW needed a firmare update and now it is working just fine. :)
I can tell you that I had to add the Pioneer Mic. Can't answer your other question, I have the PAC module for the backup camera.
