    Super useful, rebuilding a VQ atm (left over from my brothers failed v6 skyline project) was left out for 5-6 storms, clutch and fly wheel are orange lmao

      @@KyleHidalgo At the moment just in the process of stripping the loom and bolt ons so I can really get a look at the engine and go from there.

    Hey I put my wheel wheel on and it pushed in the cam position pin, do I have to replace it? Or what do I do now, can I just put it on the right way now and be fine?

    for those rental tools, i used the same one and just used one hook because 2 couldn't fit in there and it took me 3 minutes to pull out the bearing, just is a lot harder with one hook instead of 2

    Do u Kno if it's possible to remove the circle part were the flywheel 8 bolts screw in?

    • @KyleHidalgo
      @KyleHidalgo  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If I'm understanding what you're talking about, that's the crankshaft and you would have to disassemble the motor to take it out. How come??

      @@KyleHidalgo awh man:/ its cuz my friend striped the threads so he rented a tool to rethread it but the tool broke inside:/ he has another scrap engine so we were thinking of just switching it but that sounds like a lot of work then.but I mean it's only one bolt out of the ,8 so I wonder if it'll be a big deal if we just put the 7?

    • @KyleHidalgo
      @KyleHidalgo  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah shit, that sounds rough... Yeah it definitely a lot of work. Is the room still stuck in there? I would recommend looking into helicoils. You drill out the threads, retap then and then put in an insert in that you can thread the bolt into. I would not recommend running with just 7 because then it'll be off balance and could cause major issues. That's not really a part to mess around with

    What is code of the clutch disk?Can I use it with stock kit?

    • @KyleHidalgo
      @KyleHidalgo  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is no code, you'll just go to Z1 motorsports and look up clutch disks and then to performance clutch kit.

    • @KyleHidalgo
      @KyleHidalgo  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh shit, how did you do that?? I would try and turn the crank to make sure it's not rubbing on anything on the other side and if not and you can align it right I'm sure you'll be fine. If not you might have to carefully drill it out. I'm not really sure if that is a replaceable part without replacing the cam.

    Blue thread lock? Why not red?

    • @KyleHidalgo
      @KyleHidalgo  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If you use an aftermarket flywheel , the stock flywheel bolts won’t work , i’d use red locker

    • @KyleHidalgo

      They worked find for me and I probably wouldn't use red lock right on them because you'll strip the crap out of the bolts trying to get them off the next time.
