I've had 4 Dakotas and currently still have a 94 I still drive as a work truck with 245,000 miles with the V8 5.2....they all have been great trucks
9:15 - But just think about it, it started pouring out oil when it was running, so it's probably coming from the oil filter or the oil filter housing or something like that. If it was an hole in the pan it would have lost all the oil a long time ago.
I think it deserves to be saved ❤️ and with a brand new paintjob it will look amazing!
*and* the people want to see it! Good views probably?
You know you want to bring that Dakota to the channel I’d like to see it get all fixed up that be sharp as hell
It could be a collab with Santa’s workshop…
I just bought a dodge Dakota, identical to that one. my truck is a 2000 SLT, 4wd, and mine is also white. I’m so happy with this truck
Oh man Randy! That Dakota would be a great reason to head back to Maco! Would love to see a revival on it.
Ah men Brother!
I think the Dakota would be perfect for monkey wrench Mike, small trans leak won't cost a fortune to fix and it has the V8 engine
You should absolutely grab the Dakota. I have a 92 non 4x4 that’s been 5 speed swapped and I love it to death.
You seem to be the only TH-camr that makes regular videos. This is one of the best channels in my opinion. Hopefully I can buy a vehicle from you one day haha
Randy you’ve been dropping videos like crazy 💪🏾 I drive trucks and it helps make time go by watching your content and hanging with you everyday 😂
Appreciate the walk-arounds Randy 🎬🙆👍. Salute 😎
Get the Dakota! It would look awesome all fixed up again 😊
Hey Randy, gotta tell you in my book you’re absolutely the best! You absolutely make my mornings interesting and better! I am in hospice I have a iPad on a stand over my bed in your channel makes my day so much better! Love the daily doubles! I would love to see you transform that Dodge Dakota! Low mileage, A paint job, and your magic touch would make quite a transformation!
I think it's time for a blast from the past. See if you can find a Pontiac Aztec. A car that started the auto auction rebuilds journey.
He had one last year. And WHY?
I’d give the 1k for that Chevy for sure.
You should definitely bring that old Dodge Dakota to the channel and restore it to its former glory.
I look forward to theses videos every night love what you do randy!!
You have to get the Dodge Durango to the channel and get her looking right.
Randy, thanks for your video. I come home tired from work, sit down at the computer again to finish things. I'm turning on your videos, listen. your pleasant voice and relax. Thanks, Randy
Randy that Dodge pick up is a perfect candidate to do whatever the hell you want with and I think it would make a great series on the channel!!! Also, just want to say love the videos keep up the great videos!!!
Thank u for checking out the Camaro for us 😊 would you ever buy a Trailblazer SS for the channel :3?
Dude the dodge at 19:50 is sick! I wouldn't even worry about the paint it looks cool the way the paint looks. I think it would be a nice project IMO for the channel
I really like watching the new videos walking around with you
I was literally just looking at Dakotas on iaa
that was great Rebuilds, I loved it 👍
Always Good, Thank You for sharing.
Vary awesome collection indeed. Keep up the great work.
I Luvvvvvv the run & gun random review videos
The Dakota is solid. I had a '97 V6 for 10 years and added 120k to the already 97k on it,never a lick of problems with the motor/trans, occassional sensor.
That's a great truck . All kinds of cheap mods and fun to be had .
Great work. Always watching your videos.from Mombasa.Kenya.East africa. Keep it up bro👊
Great video
Would love to see more chryslers on your channel
❤
Good video bud keep up the good work
I saw a LX470 in the background of one of your videos. Next time you see one please take a look. Love the videos. Keep up the great content.
Thanks again Randy.
Don't ever let the troll asses get to you, my friend. Although I don't always comment. I've been following you for years, and will always support you. I love seeing this shit. ✌🏻
The 4.3 in that blazer is what you want. I have an 01 sonoma 4.3 with the 5 speed manual transmission and I absolutely love it.
This channel is the number one on my list and vice grip garage #2
Randy thanks for showing the dakota it reminded me of my dad's 96 dakota it was unfortunately a v6.
Love the Dalota V8;truck. Yes, yes, yes. Please buy it.
You’re too honest Randy. But then, that’s one of the many reasons we love you. Wear it like a badge of honor. 👍👍
You can’t loose fixing up any small truck. People are always looking for them and they are useful to have as a 2nd or 3rd knock around vehicle
I would love to see that older Dakota on the channel!
By that Dakota, I bought a 93 that looked just like that and everything worked perfect. Great truck I miss it. Lol
My first truck was a 91' Dakota extended cab V8 in red. It ATE transmissions and rear ends but was an endearing little truck.
Man a lot of cars donated…keep up with the hoop ties! Love it
Love that gmc with the maroon interior 💕
Thx for showing the Camaro Randy! You do listen. lol
I have a 2001 Dakota Crew Cab with the 5.9 V8. 230,000 miles and it still runs and drives great.
My 1990 Dakota S was traded in at 164,265 miles. It was a 5 speed manual and perfect paint. In later years Dodge used inferior paint. Mine looked great in black, with red interior.
Good morning Randy from @Auto Action Rebuild on the reply crew for later today
The GMC truck is a good work truck.😊👍
Great video! Would really like to see that 93 Dakota fixed up and brought back to life. All Dakotas 1999 and prior would have the 5.2 as the V8 option. 2000 is where they made the change. Although some loaded 2000-2004 Dakotas could have 5.9.
Randy don’t forget those rear-ends on those first generation dodge Dakotas.. I had a 1993 one had 93,000 miles and the rear end explored on the E-way. But believe it or not the AC worked it good.
I like those 1st and 2nd gen Dakota's with the 5.2L and 5.9L MAGNUM engines.
I wish that you could run across an old Texas edition truck from GM the late 80s and early 90s. Those things were beautiful!
I'd like to see the 93 Dakota on the channel but it's your call Randy either way it's not gonna stop me from watching keep up the good work
Nobody would ever think there was anything of value in that Dakota either. 😂
That Lexus looks beautiful 😍 and the Police car with those cool graphics
I think you need that Dakota!! Edit: the first one! Haha
i love dodge dakotas with there 4.7 magnums them things last a long time if you know how to take care of it i have an 07 slt model 4x4,sits six, v8 magnum an is a quad cab
Hello Randy. The GMC S15 is a good looking truck that's pink. Randy you can rock the pink truck. The GMC 1500 is a good looking truck.
I love my Dakota I have owned two and they are quality trucks as long as you don’t skip the maintenance.
I love this generation Dakota, especially if it has a 5.9
Randy, you should get you a “slim Jim” car opening tool for those older cars that someone locks the doors on. As a retired Leo, it could also add interesting content to see you thwart those that lock others out in hopes of limiting buyers.
Randy you got the golden touch. Bring the Dakota please
That dakota gives me major nostalgia please for the love of God I would give anything to see this come to the channel.I had a 93 extended cab with about 15k worth of audio equipment in it custom paint job rims the whole 9 yards
Definitely need to get the v6 Camaro. People will watch your struggle to fix it. Win win situation
that dodge charger broke my heart when i saw that 3.6VVT.. we both said the same thing as soon as Randy opened the hood
I remember when you brought that van to your Uncle. I thought that was a really cool thing you did for him. Karma always repays, man. 👍🇺🇸😎
The best pickup truck isn't a pickup truck at all. It's a Buick Roadmaster Wagon.
Well I think the Dakota would be great for the channel!!!!😊😊
I’d love to see that old Camaro convertible on the channel. V6 or not.
Get that Dakota!!!!!!!!!
The 5.2/318 magnum is multipoint fuel injected and the early ones like this are the desirable engines. The truck would be nice to screw around with if you get it super cheap.
I like the Dodge. Can we do a ratrod with that pickup? Some clearcoat on it?
Randy do you ever come across a Toyota Rav 4, I have a 2008 I bought brand new. The only thing I have done to it is basic maintenance and a set of new tires 220.000 miles still runs like new
I know who you are talking about with the green Coolant. I saw the same video was a Black SS, lol. Yes, I was thinking the same thing 😂 is what it is ...
The GMC pickup is absolutely perfect.
Very little good things can be said about the first generation Dakota trucks: if it was a manual transmission, it had an overly heavy clutch, the automatics blew up right away, the seats weren’t comfortable….. they had a great V8 you could stick in something else…..
I had a 2001 Dakota SLT V6 3.9L. It had 200,000 miles on it before it started to take a crap. It was a good truck and used it for everything and it was 2WD. No issues with it but towards the end finally just started to major nickel and dime me.
the thing is that k1500 in the beginning go for 2k-6k where i live and are sought after like no other. id say just as wanted as 4.0 xj Cherokees are
Save that dakota! Maco Paint Job, Front pump seal! She will run forever. It's a 318, I know these well. The one in our classic 69 coronet, has been running for 25 years, without anything else but oil, fuel, spark plugs and maybe wires.
You should get the 90s gmc Sierra will definitely last longer than the dakota and will tow more
Oldsmobile Silhouette they were nice vans to drive and ride in.😊👍
good morning wish you all stay healthy and safe
I like the Dakota :)
I love jeeps! I have owned many of them. All older ones. They are very reliable and parts are cheap and easily available and they are easy to work on.
4 x 4 V8 trucks always sell for good money... although i hear you on pulling the trans off just for a seal.
Dodge Dekota sounds like a good bid Randy 😎😎👍👍
Randy i think u should get the 93 Dakota i think it could be a diamond in the rough
Yes for the dirty old Dakota!!!
I'd buy that Dakota in heart beat! Really like that first gen. Have a second gen now.
I’m at a point in his channel that I am starting to recognise some of the cars from some previous videos ..fees good somehow😊
Take a chance on the Dakota. I love old trucks..
How about visiting the Copart sublot? Didn't you say that they have boats there or did that change?
Hi Randy. I have been watching your video's for along time. I don't like when ditch on the 6.2L engines. Then in this video you say. Wow. I would love to buy that camaro. I don't understand?
Get the wrecked SS and replace the 5.3 in your SSR, with the engine it always deserved in the first place?
What about a Lincoln? They can hold their value and have a lot of newer tech that other manufacturers do not have in the older models.
Dakotas are great! oil filter is lose though. someone will kill bearing, save it! try to tighten filter though, tomorrow that 318 will be gone maybe.
If that last dakhta ad the damlier 4.7 that's the good one i have an 04 with that motor hell of a motor with 4wd crew cab and auto transmission 146k on it
I think that maroon GMC is a 96 since it has the vortec 350, the third door and only 1 air bag because I had a 96 chevy C1500 with the same packaging
I vote to get that old dodge. New seal. Fix the air, maco paint job shiny black. It would make somebody a nice 4x4!
