    I really appreciate you for making this video. Watching your video gave me the courage to replace my entire front bumper. I paid 450 for a new grill and bumper and did the work myself. A body shop would have easily charged me 1000. Thanks again.

    Just got a sweet deal on a 2008 Honda accord with 55k miles for only 10k for 32 months. Only problem is the grill is peeling. I’ll replace one soon so I am saving this video and subscribing, thank you!

    Wow, let me say you have the most detailed instruction for this kind of job! Thank you for you efforts!
    I was wondering if you had any reccomendations for how to attempt removing the front emblem from the grill? I know you said it's likely to break however, I am trying to avoid having to spent the additional money.
    Finally, do you have a specific emblem + grill you reccomend we purchase.

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello! Thank you for the kind words! If I was planning on removing the emblem from the grille, I would take a panel trim tool (the plastic ones) and carefully pry around the edges until it popped off. There is still a good chance it may break, but that's what I would try.
      Listed below is the parts I bought for this car. Take note: 2008-2010 Accords have a slightly different grille design than the 2011-2012. I am not sure if they are different sizes, but the design is definitely different.

      2011-2012 Accord Grille - amzn.to/3LZZP5z

    Thanks for the video, do you know if the coupe and sedan have the same bumper and grille?

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      To be 100% honest I don't believe so. The coupe looks like its slightly thinner, but I could be wrong.

    • @devoonbmx603
      @devoonbmx603 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TrickShiftGarage the grills slightly thinner, or the whole bumper?

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe the grille is slightly thinner from top to bottom from the looks of it. But again, I'm not certain so I could be wrong.

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      The process of changing it should be the exact same, but they may be different part numbers.

    I need to replace the chrome trim only on the grill as it’s been bubbling and peeling, does the black part with the emblem just clip into that? eBay has cheap chrome trim replacement

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not 100% sure. It was cheap for the whole grille so I just replaced it altogether.

    Hello! Are all clips the same?

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think they are slightly different (top vs the bottom). But that universal kit I bought has plenty of different sizes.

    Does anyone know where to get the grill replacement part in Canada

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not sure how that works, but have you tried Amazon?

  • @khloelevels1531

    Do you know how I would disconnect my fog lights?

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, each foglight should have an electrical connector with a push tab on it. Go ahead and push the tab and pull it off. That should release the connector.
      Remember you want to do that before removing the bumper. Removing the bumper first could put stress on the wires that connect to the foglights and that can cause issues.
      Let me know how it goes!

    What size clips do I need?

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure since it's been a few months since I worked on this. I put a universal clip kit in the description of the video. It has plenty of different sizes, which is convenient for any car. They are pretty cheap too. If you don't want to find the link, just search "universal push clip" on Amazon. Just make sure you find the right one because some of them may be a larger kit, and some others can be too small.
