I love how the house is rustic. Beautiful. That would be a dream house. The kitchen is so lovely and the living room is so cozy. Yeah, I think that we all (through the world) should learn from English people how to be so proud of our nations, heritage, culture, tradition, etc... To respect it and to keep it alive through generations... That’s the real value. I admire them for that. 🙌🏼

Josie, you are so amazing to be able to share so much of your moving with us. Moving is so stressful, but you did that plus sharing with us. It’s so exciting to watch. As I’ve told you before, I’m 73, but it seems like only yesterday that we were moving, getting furniture, deciding where things should go in our cabinets, and decorating our home. For your pots and pans, get drawers-that-pull-out installed in the lower cupboards. It will save your backs, keep the pans in better shape, and keep them better organized (easier to pull out and put away; you can get the ones at the back without having to pull the ones at the front out).
So exciting to see all the little unique details of your beautiful new home! I am so excited to see more. The garden is huge and especially compared to the last one. I’m so happy for you, Charlie and your boys!

Those are appliance garages with the plugs in the cabinet. Blenders things like that are what they are designed for.
I would recommend put the olive oil in a black package and store somewhere because the sunlight ruins the oil (my family produces olive oil in Tuscany)
Exactly! Olive oil needs a dark container / bottle!
I love the longer blogs but of course we understand if you need more of a break. Another option is to keep the length the same but make the amount of vlogs a little more relaxed. Can't wait to see the flower pressing results!!! ❤

someone probably has said your bench top is granite.. which is superb and if you wish to make pasta you can do so directly on it.. BUT do get it sealed. ( if it already isn't) .. even kneed and roll out cake / dough mixes directly on it its perfect for just that :-) your new home is divine... best wishes to you all

Wow, beautiful dream home. It is fun watching Charlie in the kitchen. We live in St Augustine FL. We bought a country home in an equestrian neighborhood on the St Johns river years ago. I have 2 mares and an assortment of cats and dogs. Your puppies are adorable. So happy for you.

Your joy and excitement are palpable and it's wonderful to be a small part of through the vlogs. Having moved to the US from a small village where our house backed on to open fields, and we heard the church bells chiming near by, has brought back a lot of happy memories and made me a little homesick too!

Congratulations on the house! That kitchen is dreamy! The copper pans are so beautiful, is there anyway you could hang them for them to be on display and easy to reach? Once you put a shelf in there, the back ones will be hard to reach. Another idea is to get a pull out drawer insert and install in the cabinet. Drawers for your pots and pans are a game changer! xo

Love the kitchen. You could put the herbs in the drawer to the left of the aga as you use them when cooking, and change the baking utensils to the drawer between the fridges.

(I lived near a church which also had early morning bells and it took about a week for me to no longer even hear the bell's ringing.)
