Happy Humpday!! I hope you are all well and having a great week so far!
This vlog is one that you are all constantly asking for, the house in Mallorca and MY MOTHER 😂 So, here it is!
Look around the house with us and talk through new design features, antique furniture and how to create your dream home with beautiful pieces that YOU love. This doesn't mean you have to spend thousands of pounds, most of the time you can find incredible things in auctions for a fraction of the price and most of the time a special story behind it!
We also have a few new family members!! We haven't names them all yet, so let me know what you think the two little ginger kittens and the brindle kitten should be called?!
Walking around the gardens is one of my favourite things to do so I truly hope you enjoy it as much as I do and please excuse the very noisy cockerels!

What a lovely comment. Wouldn’t life be so much better if we all could enjoy our own lives whilst observing our differences but not feel envious and angry. I like to think that is how life used to be. I lived in a very small village and if some one arrived in a Rolls Royce all the kids would come out to have a look, genuinely thrilled that such a car was visiting. Now the envy is so real, Leo is really quite brave in what she puts out and I hope that nothing changes!
I totally agree with you. Leonora is a lovely young woman who appreciates her good fortune and her wonderful family but she doesn't boast about it. She is so respectful of everyone and very gracious 🤗

Your mom is so correct!!! It’s about collecting what you love and decorating your house around what you like and those you love….it’s then that a house becomes a beautiful and warm home!!!

Obviously as an adult this property is a DREAM!!! But if I were a kid, that would be fairyland time. The forts, the imaginary games, places you could create just by getting outside and playing. What a fabulous property. So glad it fell in the hands of such good custodians❤

Wow, when I saw the thumbnail with your mother and Mallorca I was so excited. I love being able to see the decorating process, the books on the central table in the hallway, the fabric swatches and the gorgeously maintained gardens. The property really is magnificent. I love the slow living in Mallorca, the cotswolds and the busy London life.
Homesick for my beautiful mother who died when I was 19!! 54 years ago! She was always decorating with fabric samples and wallpaper books! Always asking me what I thought!! So much fun! She had 8 kids and always decorating ! We had a beautiful Spanish home with inside gardens!!
Losing a parent is a gut punch and something you never really get over.
Absolutely lovely !!! You could send your gardeners and staff home with a basket of oranges every single day!

I love, Love, LOVE the updates on the Mallorca house tours! Love seeing all the fabric samples and all the thoughts and ideas of what is to come! Curating is key as far as I’m concerned. I prefer quality antiques with so much beauty, character and interesting backstories! The heirloom pieces are much easier to notate the backstories but it can be fun to imagine the previous lives these acquired pieces may have had when you find a treasure! I like to get as much information the sellers might have on the antiques I buy. I just don’t think you can order that curated-over-time look out of a catalog! And like so many things in life, wonderful things aren’t always instantaneous but take time!

It’s magnificent how much produce you have growing in your orchard! I imagine you have fresh-squeezed orange juice every morning and all the lemon pie and lemon curd you can eat! And when it’s not dry (or damp) January, all the yummy margaritas from your fresh limes! With such prolific quantities, I’m curious as to what you do with all that extra produce?
If you make fig jam from your green figs, you definitely need to make some homemade pizzas in your pizza oven with it! My favorite is to spread the fig jam on the dough as your “sauce” then on top add caramelized onions, prosciutto, mozzarella with a sprinkling of feta cheese to finish! If you don’t have prosciutto on hand, chicken is also a very tasty substitute. Delish! Helpful hint: if your fig jam is too thick to spread, mix a splash of white wine to thin it out. And I’m sure the alcohol will cook out if you make it in January! 😉😆☺️

I think it is ok for some of the oranges and lemons, the fruits in general to fall on to the ground to rot and compost. The fallen leaves and fruits will nourish the soil.

She had mentioned that the UK house was primarily hers and Marcus's, while the Mallorca house is mainly occupied by her parents.

Loving all the updates mummy has done, just love her interior design taste. The yellow flowering tree in the garden is a "Knife Acacia", Also known as Dogtooth wattle. Native of Australia. An attention-grabbing specimen, it also attracts birds to the garden.
