    hello, you said "everyone can do the weave" except not me, I'm just beginning and I'm watching your videos to learn but you didn't describe how to do this very basic step- can you please make a video describing how to do the forward and backward weave? thanks

    • @fan_juggler
      @fan_juggler 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Hi, yes, sorry, I realized it with all these feedbacks that actually not everyone can do the weave, at least not smoothly at the side. So I'll do a kind of #0 tutorials about how to hold the fans and do the weave. It's basically a figure of 8, like in poi, stuff of any other prop.
      Sorry for the late response

    Thankyou ^.^ Iv been dying to learn tech fans for years coming from fire and aerial hoop. I'm stuck with hangers for now but this type of repetition is really helpful and I can feel where I need to gain lean muscles in my left wrist. Looking forward to following this tutorial journey.

    Hey guys, I see a lot of people wishing this was slowed down-just hit the 3 dots at the top right of the screen and change the playback speed. You can slow it down as much as you like! Happy fan-ing!

    I feel like as soon as I master the first tutorial I´d already have enough skills to do an entire act lol
    I know the video is old but still I wished the movements were shown waaaaaaayy slower! Like if you don´t already know the moves by heart it is so tricky to figure out what is going on while trying to just copy moves from a video :S Still got at least some great inputs on what to work on

    • @techfantutorials

    One suggestion to your epic tutorials for us beginners! Could you do some of the weaves in slow motion? I have no idea how you're able to keep them spinning so tightly....My wrists are nowhere near that dexterous - Maybe I'm doing it wrong

    • @techfantutorials
      @techfantutorials  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi!, Thanks! Well, the "tightness" comes with time, practice and right camera angle ) At the beginning it's always very rough, but as you wrists get used to it all becomes more smooth. So don't worry, it's notmal ;)
      But I'll try to show some slow motion in future...

    thank you so much for the tutorial.!! I was wandering if you could make a vidoe tutorial going slower on how the wrist goes for doing the front and back weaves? =)

    • @techfantutorials
      @techfantutorials  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Catalina Grisales well I'm hot sure if I'll make a separate tutorial about it, but the wrist also does some kind of figure 8 move. The most important thing is that you shouldn't hold your fan tight. It's rather on your fingers, so the wrist is not involved so much.

    • @techfantutorials
      @techfantutorials  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it's just figure-8 sometimes called a weave, at least that's what I mean every time I'm saying it.

    Спасибо за крутые обучалки!) Только вот пойстер возражет, что это не восьмерки, а бабочки)) Что скажешь?)

    • @techfantutorials
      @techfantutorials  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Liza Lisa ну восьмёрки в том смысле, что каждая рука делает восьмёрку ) Думаю возражающий пойстер должен лучше выучить терминологию ) Бабочка - это только один элемент, а тут как бы рассматривается класс элементов. Не важно они оппозиционные или в одном направлении, это как бы всё равно восьмёрки ;)

    • @techfantutorials
      @techfantutorials  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is what is called "closed grip", you can check the theretical tutorial #26 to learn more about grips. Here, the particular way to hold is not very important, but it's better to hold it with your fingers rather than stiffly holding it with the whole hand. This will give you more flexibility
