You are really good at keeping the video entertaining! And I love your edits! 💓 I just can't figure out #3 when I come from bottom to top... maybe I just need to practice more but on my non dominate side it looks so sloppy.
I didn't explain it this way in the video, but the hand in back is going to end up in front when it traces the arm. Not sure if that's the issue your having, but it's a common mistake I see when I teach this in person. Feel free to let me know if you want to specify or need any extra help :D
@@danirei789 Thank you!!! I just had to keep working on it but that mention did help a bit too. I saw you never uncrossed your arms but always use the arm closest to me to spin the fan as you come up? I started using it more and more and I think its looking smoother. I would love to see how to do the body traces if you have a video already made or thinking of the next tutorial? I would love to see how you explain it. Very sad there is not too many tutorials for fans out there.

Sorry I took so long getting back, but my fans are from Forged Creations. Thy are on the pricey side, but they're super durable and well balanced, so definitely worth the money!

@@danirei789 Hi Dani. Do you recommend doodles more than russian fans? I'm looking into getting my first fan, and I'm afraid that russian will not let me have much grips on techniques. Thanks for your feedback!
@@der8592 Grips are totally a matter of preference. I like the doodle grips because I like to do a lot of folds and techy tricks. Everything I do is definitely possible with Russian grips as well, but those fans are much better for flowy, extra dynamic movement. Neither is wrong, but it's worth finding some examples of performances and tutorials for each one to help you make a more calculated decision.
