Just picked one of these up to replace my old bitz. Do they seem to clean up pretty well? Biggest gripe about the bitz was the residual glue on the tips and tails. Thanks for a great rundown vid on this jig.
I had the same thought about the hash marks on the clamp wearing over time. If that happens I'll either use a dremel or a metal scribe pen and re-do them.
I got this fletching jig yesterday. I flet 3 arrows with it. Victory Vtac 23 with 3 vanes, right helical. Could you help me with the vane spacing? I get uneven vane spacing. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or what is going on? Could you please help me fix this?
The only things I could think of that would cause that is if the side to side adjustment wasn’t tight, you have the set screws for the configuration not adjusted correctly allowing slop, or the holes the ball bearings are going in are incorrectly drilled. If it on all arrows or hit or miss?
@@JorgeSilva-kv3hk not the knob. The two bolts that hold the side to side adjustment not the black knob you loosen to chance the degree. If those are tight you may just have one you have to send back that the spacing on the indents is wrong.

@@shannonandrews3980 I put the knob pretty tight. I did put the little screw for the 120°(3 vane). All arrow were a miss with the vane spacing :(
