    How do we unplug the indicator clip and the wiring clip with foam on it?

    Could you show how you unclip the lower fairing under the headers? I'm trying to separate them but it feels like I'm going to break something

    Thanks for the great video.i want to lift my tank, do i have to fully remove the fairing to do that?

      If you release the top of the fairing it might be possible to flex it out of the way.

    When removing the black meter panels from the top of the fairing put a piece of sturdy cloth or something similar between it and the fuel tank shroud. If you don't the metal clips on the meter panels will scratch the shroud paintwork.
    I also found that putting the fairing back together is actually more tricky than taking it off! Spare fastener? Nope, where did I remove that from????!

    How do you separate the clip from the bottom after you pull the pin out. I pulled out the pin that connects the lower 2 fairings, but I can't get the hook undone. Any advice. Thanks.

      from memory, the outer part of the clip should pull out, and the fairing needed a bit of jiggling around to separate the two halves...it's quite strong so it can be pulled about a bit. hope this helps, good luck.

    If I had known how much of a bitch this bike is to work on, I would never have bought one. You have to dismantle the thing just to change the bloody air filter for Christ sake. Total pain in the ass. Can't wait toget shot of it and go back to a naked bike.

    i must disagree with the majority of the complimentary comments on here. i thought the demonstration was poor, very little running explanations, poor lighting and no warnings about anything.
    no mention of protecting the tank paintwork and terrible camera angles.
    it was of very little use. sorry, but there it is.

      Sure I have seen better quality videos on different topics, but I think for the most part everything is clear. Most of the time he was operating one handed, so cheers to him taking the time to make it and post the video.

      @@aticusaticus9138 This guy doesn't owe you or me anything and it is the only video with any information on removing the fairings for this bike (that I am aware of). Not everyone is attempting to make a living from their TH-cam channel and can afford to spend the time to have the equipment and or assistance to make a professional presentation and then the time to edit it to your satisfaction. Ultimately I was thankful for the information that was conveyed and that is enough for me. I do not need to be entertained or dazzled while learning how to remove the fairings. Like I said, I have definitely seen better presentations, but I am thankful for the video anyway.

      @@shanefrank3281 i think you are missing the point frank. my comments were on the poor quality of the video presentation, as simple as that.
      making subjective excuses on behalf of the presenter doesn`t make it any better, does it? it is what it is. listing excuses doesn`t change anything.
      you come across as an ideal customer, take what you`re given and never complain, in fact make excuses on behalf of the vendor for providing you with a poor service or product. just sayin, that`s all.

      Post ne the link where you have done a better job. I.e videography, lighting, sound quality, location and running commentary. I really want to see this pro in action
