You can actually delete OB in the designer. When you are placing OB and you mess up, hover the OB brush that you are using over the OB you’ve placed and press the button that you would normally use when you need to undo something (hills, bunkers, planting, etc). So “X” (Xbox), “Square” (Playstation), and idk for PC. Hope that helps
Cheers matey, really appreciate you taking the time to play and critique this. Some really great feedback which I am definitely going to take on board. This course was designed in 2k21, I'm aware 9f the green speed issue but had already published, also the OB encroaching on the 3rd fairway. The reason I out so many cut ins was to offer challenges to different tee positions, but can see that indeed to visually explain this better. I'm currently designing a similar 5ype course with an Easter isalnd theme, made much better by the recent additions to the editor. The only course I've released fro 2k23 is mulberry downs, spent much more time on play testing and greenspeeds etc,it also has a clubhouse and bits n bobs,so is moreof a realistic rather than fantasy course. Thank you again for taking the time with this, it will definitely have a positive impact on future design.
Glad i can be a help! I'm defiantly going to play mulberry downs to see what work you've done there. I enjoyed the course, and especially the idea of starting at the top of the mountain like that
Your course critiques are outstanding. Its awesome to watch your take on a course from a designers perspective. If you find the time could you do a critique of my newest course EP's Oahu? I'd love to see your take on it.
Awesome!! I would really appreciate it. I sculpted the coastline and topography (roughly) of Oahu and tried to add as many real-life landmarks as I could while also trying to make it an interesting and fun (but challenging) fantasy course. Pins 1-4 go easy to hard. Thanks again, I've picked up a lot of useful info from your design videos and course critiques lately. Stoked!
Hi Duff. I have my latest course "Bogey Oaks" just about ready to publish. I'll give you a nudge when it's ready to go. I'm going to go back and look at some of the points you've made about Mountain Descent here (which looks a cool course, btw) and check I've got those things in check before I publish. Also, designed in 2k21, so the greens thing might be a factor.
Duff, just completed a new course, "Embree Hills CC". Well actually it was a remake. I completed it in 19 but have since listened and learned to a lot of you guys about what it takes to create and went back in to "fix' it. Still trying to get better and have work to do. But please if you don't mind, giving it a play and giving some advice. Embree Hills CC. Respectfully.
I noticed that he didn't smooth the fence lines out. And I'm sure its because with that particular fence for some reason, it doesn't give the smooth option so it leaves the corners looking sharp. To accomplish that smooth look for that fence, you need to spline a different fence, then smooth it, then go back to edit fence and swap objects and change to that particular fence. That will make the fence look more smooth and ultimately give the course a smooth look. PGA needs to fix that.

hmm i need to look into this, i haven't spend much time with the new splined fences
That shouldn’t even be considered a design.
