Good Morning! I had no idea that there were so many classifications of chrysanthemum! Thank you for always being so informative in your videos, Danielle. I always look forward to them.
Thank you for your informative tour. I was at Longwood for the mum festival Oct 2nd Wk(a bucket list wish). However was sorely disappointed the 1000 bloom plant not on display and apparently “people in the know” (such as yourself) know to come last week in Oct. The topiaries and cascades and the bonsai blooms were non existent to scant, so doubly enjoyed your px.
BTW, stopped by hoping to get a late season flowerstand bouquet, but none that Sat. Still ….Pennsylvania, Longwood and Lancaster Counties were beautiful to this drought flower deprived person.
OMG!! Those Mum's were amazing!!! I didn't know there is so many interesting and beautiful Mums. Why do garden centers only ever have the standard mums?? Will definitely be looking into these.

I love all of your videos, and I especially love the informative ones. Would you consider making a basics of garden design video? What is your planning process when you're making a new area, or even starting from scratch? How do you choose your plants? What are your tips for creating the kind of all-season beauty that you have achieved? Etc. Also, your dahlia care video was spectacular. It's because of that video that I'm trying dahlias (which I have failed at miserably) one more time. Could you make a video on how you care for your garden? Not individual plants necessarily, but the garden as a whole. How much time do you spend out there on a daily/weekly basis? How do you control diseases and pests in such a densely planted space? How often and with what do you feed your plants? Etc. Maybe include a year-at-glance segment where you detail you gardening tasks by month. And any other practical, behind-the-scenes content that you can think of. Winter is coming, and maybe these types of videos will help fill the gap until spring.

I've never even seen some of these mums that you showed us. They are gorgeous! Are they hard to grow? I just wonder why I haven't seen seeds for these awesome flowers... I would love to try to grow them ❤️

I have always wanted chrysanthemums (not what I find at the local garden center in Sept/Oct, but the perennial ones you highlighted). I am now on a quest to find one sunny location in my garden to plant at least one variety next spring. With my small property it is getting harder and harder to plant all of the perennials, annuals and bulbs that I want to grow...lol! I want it all!! :) Following your lead, I am getting closer. Thanks!!
Ooh - I'm trying chrysanthemums for the first time this year. I hope i've done the right thing with them - I'm about to find out. I have lots of dahlias including Cornel (your fave) and right now I'm waiting for them to sprout in the garden (under fleece) to get them off to an early start... This is a super video Danielle!
I had a brief moment that I could have gone to see the Chrysanthemum show but it was raining and the opportunity passed. Now I wish I had planned another day to go. Next year!! Sorry if this has been asked before.But what kind of system do they have for staking and the weaving of the string with these dahlias?
I have decided not to grow Zenia even though I love them. The powdery white mildew is ruining it for me.
