Cinderella was my favorite live band that I've seen and I saw all the hair bands live. And they were all pretty good but Cinderella was in another place altogether. I second Somebody Save Me. Oddly it wasn't my favorite when I was a kid but as I have aged the brilliance of that song has definitely come into clarity for me.
Heartbreak Station is my favorite Cinderella song/album but Long Cold Winter is one of those albums where the band didn't hit the sophomore slump and proved they were the real deal to all critics.
Thanks for playing this. A very underrated band. "Take Me Back" and "Bad Seamstress Blues" are great rockers, as well. I was lucky enough to see them on tour with Queensrÿche a few years back.
Great choices!! I saw them in 1989 and about to see Tom again in August! In 1989 they opened their show on the first song with "Bad Seamstress Blues" I was very impressed bc it starts out slow acoustic blues. Loved that surprise for an opening song. Of course it kicked in a minute later into the song,
Can someone request Bad Seamstress Blues/Falling Apart at the Seams? I can't afford to pay for a request. Thank you. I think it will really blow them away.
For me, I always felt that Cinderella was the CCR of metal. Tom had that Fogerty gravel voice always had that blues elements. And can't go wrong with Little Richard telling the old lady to shut up at the end. 8:36
My first exposure to Cinderella was an accident. I was run down by 3 band members who were rushing from a crowd in downtown Cincinnati. Got an apology,, a handshake,, and a free autographed album out of it...and I've been a fan ever since! Excellent musicians and a great bunch of guys!!!
Unfortunately no one even gets the point of the song these days, SEnate hearings and the government threat to censor musical creativity: "Tipper [wife of future Vice-President Al Gore] lead the war against the record industry. She said she saw the devil on her MTV"

About 7 years ago we saw Tom Keifer and band in the front of the stage. He DRIPPED SWEAT on me 😅 this is o e concert in all my 56 years that left me deaf for TWO entire days. He is still out there guys! Go see a show!
I have to get up at 5am for work, but you just got me out of bed for this one. I've been waiting for this one for quite a while! I'm glad you finally got to hear it.
Yes! The image and music videos could easily make someone believe these guys were a glitzy hair band, but Tom and the Boys kicked out some hard rock and roll
Saw Cinderella open for Bon Jovi in 1987....4th row, Cincinnati Gardens, when I was 16. I don't listen to metal/hard rock anymore, but that was still one of the BEST concerts I've ever seen...and I'm 52 now!!!!
I was fortunate to meet the band about 13 years ago when they played in Wichita KS at the Cotillion Ballroom…one of my fave bands of all time and really great guys! Took pics and had a great time!
I was 21. It was the year my mom passed. Crazy time. I actually almost gave my tickets away; but I know she would’ve wanted me to have a good time. I’m glad I went it was amazing and I had the BEST time through my sadness. If that makes sense.
Agreed! I'm old, so I've been to a lot of concerts, and I have to say Cinderella is absolutely one of the best live. I've seen them several times and they're always perfect!
LOL... here's where I tell my fangirl moment story. A friend and I had tickets to their concert and happened to find out what hotel they stayed at. My girlfriend was absolutely crazy over Tom Keifer. She went to all the trouble to learn which hotel and we went there early afternoon to "hang out" in the lobby. What do you know her information was correct and in walked the whole band. They had a pretty good entourage so probably 30 people showed up in the lobby and there we were standing probably six feet away from him. You could tell they were probably pretty used to all the fangirls by then because they definitely noticed we were on the fringes of their group. I kinda take a step sideways and my friend ended up literally backing into Mr. Keifer. He smiled and said hello. She turned around speechless. Opened her mouth and couldn't make words. LOL! It was hilarious she stood there in silence for a few seconds that felt like an eternity and then just gathered herself and walked away. We had second row seats for the concert and I'm positive he recognized us from the stage a few hours later. What a good time with my dear friend Brenda.
Omg I have been waiting forever for y’all to react to this! Love it. They turned into a blusey hard rock band. The lyrics where about what was going on in the country at the time. Tipper Gore headed the Parents Music Resource Center (pmrc). Trying to get all kinds of groups banned. Jim Bakker and Jimmy swaggart both got busted for embezzling church funds and sex outside marriage respectivly. Not only little Richard but the blond is a VERY young Pam Anderson. Frank Zappas son Dweezil and Homer Simpson himself Harry Shearer is the gambler with the 2 ladies. A very fun song and video
I spotted Shearer too, but couldn't remember his name. Senior moment/brain freeze/fart, whatever, thought I'd look through comments first instead of Googling Spinal Tap or something. Cheers, mate, thanks for the info 👍 😘🤙🎶💃🕺❤️✨️🕊
Cinderella has so many great tunes. Bad Attitude Shuffle, Long Cold Winter, Coming Home, Heartbreak Station are some good ones from them. Another good band is Ratt - Way Cool Junior
Still need to do Somebody Save Me as part of three of the trilogy of videos. You've Nobody's Fool and Shake Me this song completes that story. Love this song and love this album so much. Saw them a few times in concert in the 80s and they never disappointed.
Rock n Roll never needed saving it just comes at you in different forms. As we have all seen fads one hit wonders come and go Rock n Roll still keeps on rolling along.
BADASS! Love this tune. A band that I think was sort of underrated. Check out a Canadian band by the name of Glass Tiger. "Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone)" is a great listen 👍👍.
Good choice! Yeah Glass Tiger hasn't even been done by RSR yet. They have a couple great ones. "Someday" is another great one. Another great Canadian band they've not done is Honeymoon Suite. I call them Canada's answer to Bon Jovi. LOTS or great songs they could do by Honeymoon Suite.
Love Cinderella soooooo much!!! Man I wish they would have come out with more. Saw them open up for David Lee Roth with Extreme up first. 3rd row and caught Tom Keifer's pick. Still have it 35 plus years later. Long live Cinderella 🤘🍻🇨🇦
Here's a good one. 1959 , no lyrics , not rock but easily passes for rock. Written by Henry Mancini. The theme music to the black and white tv show Peter Gunn. Former cop turned private eye. The Theme for Peter Gunn is fast paced petal to the metal music. Dont put it in your phone unless you like tickets.

Not enough people out there doing reactions to Cinderella. Quite sad because I personally think they were one of the best of the glam rock era. Oh yes and Tom can sing.
My brother must have jammed to this song and the rest of their 'Heartbreak Station' album thousands of times as he was learning electric guitar. So many good memories.
Cinderella is one of my favorite hair bands. Great writing and music. This song was actually 1990, but it still showcases their talent. Tom Keifer has such an incredible vocal. Cinderella was one of those bands that had a number of great MTV videos in the 80's and sold a lot of albums but was always an opening act for so many bands back then and so I got to see them so many times and they blew you away every time. They had a great live show and often times could be better than the opener. Check out songs - "Push Push", "Bas Seamstress Blues/Fallin Apart at the Seams", "The More Things Change", "Heartbreak Station",
This is one of the most beautiful songs ever written and performed. I love Tom Keifer's voice and him as a person. This song is really a shelter to me, to listen whenever I feel down
Bangin' Rock Guitar & Sax!! :) Never heard much Cinderella in days when I mostly listened to the Radio, but This Music was Fantastic! :) I DIG IT too, Amber! :) Singer will give Steven Tyler a Run! Great Reaction, Guys!
FINALLY! Huge Cinderella fan here! So glad you did this song! Gypsy Road or Heartbreak Station next please. RIP Jeff LaBar….he’s so cute in this video.
I've probably been waiting for this one for over a year. I requested this one a long time ago. I knew you guys would LOVE it! The drums! The sax! Tambourine! Guitars! Back up vocals! And of course Mr Keifer! This is one of my favorite songs ever!
So glad you got to this one. I suggested a long time ago, because I knew y'all would love it because of the instrumentation. When I saw them in concert, Tom Kiefer played the sax solo himself. He is so talented. He played piano, sax, and lead guitar. It was a great show.
Great choice RSR!! Knew you'd love it..esp with the sax. I saw Cinderella live in 1989. They were awesome! They had Tom playing on a grand piano descending from the top of the stage during ""Don't Know What You Got.,." Now I get to see Tom Keifer live again 34 years later in August at the Tennessee Theatre! **Another great one is "Coming Home" Thanks RSR!!
I saw them in concert in "85, they opened for Bon Jovi in Philly. A great concert as you can imagine. Cinderella was put in that hair metal category because of their hair but they were more a bluesy rock band to me, they were just different. A great rock band.
Some of my all-time favorite classic rock songs are when industrial hard rock bands infuse a little Southern Rock or Country instrumentation or style. Shelter Me, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Hangman Jury, even Hot Dog and Far Away Eyes. Always fun!
I love amber. she is so beautiful and fun to watch when the rock songs really grab her soul and she smiles from ear to ear and busts into dance in her seat
I got into Cinderella through this song when I was 6 years old. I love anytime rock music integrates real horns into their sets. I've always loved how fun and driving the music is, but the lyrics are genuine about real tough things, deep things, human faults and pointing fingers 👉
This is one of those songs I appreciate so much more as an adult than I did as a teen. Would you believe this song bored me as a kid? Hearing it now I absolutely love it. Thanks for bringing it back into my life!
A definite tribute to supportive guitarist, Jeff Labar, who passed away in 2021, March 18, 1963, Darby, PA-July 14, 2021, Nashville, TN. R.I.P Mr. Labar.
If you guys like how raspy Tom Kiefer's voice is when he sings, you guys need to check out another hair band group that has a raspy voiced singer as well that goes by the name Dizzy Dean Davidson and the group is called Britny Fox and you can check out any of their songs like Girl School, Long way to Love, Rock and Roll Revolution, or In America, Hold On, Don't hide, Kick and fight, Save the weak. Any of those songs have Dizzy Dean using his Raspy voice too.
In this video, Shelly Duval, who played Jack’s wife in The Shining is taking calls, and Dweezel Zappa, who’s father was Frank Zappa, also the blond girl is Bobby Brown, who starred in Warrant’s Cherry Pie video, who was also married to the singer of Warrant Jani Lane.
Every musician hopes and prays their whole life to write ONE perfect song. Their first album was fierce and there was a string of top ten hits on that album we hadnt seen the like of since Back in Black. But this song is perfect. Fred Coury's drumming is phenomenal. He has that beautiful Philly back beat rock and roll groove that is so thick that it is truly hard to mimic. My only beef with it was Tom's voice had that Brian Johnson scream to it and he couldn't abandon it to sing this like the Rock n Roll masterpiece it really was. It was Cinderella and that's how the singer from Cinderella sang but damn, I'd have loved to hear one of his backup singers take the lead.
What is Hilarious about this is the Timing! I JUST played this song for my wife like 30 min ago, w/out knowing you guys were doing this today!! 🤣🤣🤣 Love Cinderella, got all the albums, and I did Tom's more recent solo albums. You can't go wrong with this! We all need shelter and to be allowed to be ourselves loud and proud!
Just saw it and we ABSOLUTELY love it!! 💙. Since Amber is a huge fan of power ballads try “heartbreak station” and/or “through the rain” by Cinderella.
The guy that throws the dice in the video is the DJ in Waynes World 2, Handsome Dan, he is also Derik Smalls in This is Spinal Tap, and he’s the voice of Ned Flanders from The Simpson….his name is Harry Shearer.
Cinderella was certainly one of the essential hair bands of the 80s. Songs like 'Shake Me' (their biggest rocking hit) and Nobody's Fool (maybe their biggest ballad) were in constant rotation on radio.
Somebody Save Me- Cinderella. Another up-tempo awesome mid80s tune with Tom Keifer really showing off his vocals. Love to see you react to it!

I love Bad Seamstress Blues.
THANK YOU GUYS! Im so glad you finally did this one!
It’s crazy they incorporated blues jazz gospel and rock all In one song the best.
Boss I swear they're a blues rock band disguised as a glam/hair metal band.
"Long Cold Winter" and "Don't Know What You Got Til It's Gone" are two of my favorite blues ballads.
They already did Don't Know What You Got - and should definitely do "Long Cold Winter".
Love that whole album, so damn good... that southern blues edge they added to that record is just perfect... more where Toms solo stuff is now too...
Can someone request Bad Seamstress Blues/Falling Apart at the Seams? I can't afford to pay for a request. Thank you. I think it will really blow them away.

R.I.P Mr. Labar.
Legendary band
If you guys like how raspy Tom Kiefer's voice is when he sings, you guys need to check out another hair band group that has a raspy voiced singer as well that goes by the name Dizzy Dean Davidson and the group is called Britny Fox and you can check out any of their songs like Girl School, Long way to Love, Rock and Roll Revolution, or In America, Hold On, Don't hide, Kick and fight, Save the weak. Any of those songs have Dizzy Dean using his Raspy voice too.
Love Cinderella, my favorite hair band for sure.
FYI: Tom Kiefer(lead singer/guitar/piano)recorded all the parts and taught them to the other band members.
Tom lived across the street from me growing up...He was such a great dude
Love Cinderella. This song you can't sit still for
In this video, Shelly Duval, who played Jack’s wife in The Shining is taking calls, and Dweezel Zappa, who’s father was Frank Zappa, also the blond girl is Bobby Brown, who starred in Warrant’s Cherry Pie video, who was also married to the singer of Warrant Jani Lane.
Love this one. Tom still tours. He puts on a great show. I highly recommend seeing him if he comes to your area.
One of the best 80s songs IMO!
You guys really really need to listen to "Bad Seamstress Blues/Fallin' Apart at the Seams" from the album "Long Cold Winter" released in 1988.
What is Hilarious about this is the Timing! I JUST played this song for my wife like 30 min ago, w/out knowing you guys were doing this today!! 🤣🤣🤣
Love Cinderella, got all the albums, and I did Tom's more recent solo albums. You can't go wrong with this! We all need shelter and to be allowed to be ourselves loud and proud!
Long cold winter! Awesome song!!
Great song! Remember this album coming out when I was in elementary school.
One of the best concerts I saw, Tom was amazing
I loved them back in the days. Wow.
Just saw it and we ABSOLUTELY love it!! 💙. Since Amber is a huge fan of power ballads try “heartbreak station” and/or “through the rain” by Cinderella.
Don't forget "Long Cold Winter"
@@emeraldtiger7135 that is true.
The guy that throws the dice in the video is the DJ in Waynes World 2, Handsome Dan, he is also Derik Smalls in This is Spinal Tap, and he’s the voice of Ned Flanders from The Simpson….his name is Harry Shearer.
Bad Seamstree Blues, perfect Blues and hard Rock put together!
After all this time finally getting to the good stuff.
Cinderella is possibly my favorite 80's band.... Deep track (In from the outside)
Cinderella was certainly one of the essential hair bands of the 80s. Songs like 'Shake Me' (their biggest rocking hit) and Nobody's Fool (maybe their biggest ballad) were in constant rotation on radio.
I'm 64 yrs young, great to see y'all rocking to what I listened to!
