This allowed me to not have to transfer forces down here from Kislev to sort out Morghur, which meant I had the strength to handle Chaos. 24 armies of WoC are coming behind what you can see on the campaign map during end turn. This is a remnant army from when I confederated Reikland 20 turns or so ago. I had paid no attention to the wizard. After this, I sent this army to Akendorf to hold against the Orcs and Clan Mors, taking Gelt's place doing the job. Gelt moved North and roflstomped a pile of Chaos and clan moulder armies. Now I'm fighting Ikit and Mors and it's going as one would expect.
from what i saw, your armies are only filled with artillery, guns and a couple of heroes. What is your strategy to delay the opponent? Because, yeah you obliterate everything slow with a lot of fire power, but everything with multiple armies or fast units or monsters, or everything that i said will just slap your ass! I see this kind of army as support but not stand alone force... If you take 2 armies, one with front line and some fire power, and this one with the big dakka i understand even if i think it is most of the time overkill and very expensive especially in legendary, but this glass canon build i think is really risky... EDIT: it seems to me it is mimicing the skaven doomstack, but without the plague priests to summon a shitload of clan rats to act as tar pits, wich is THE thing making the skaven doomstack viable... this is why i am puzzled

i don't think it was morghur, the range of the mortis engine effect would be insane, i think it was a shot from the steam tank or any other artillery still shooting at morghur that missed and was fireing in that direction. You can see legend stopping the steam tank from shooting a few secondes later. Because if it was morghur's effect, holy shit that is some juicy range!
no it was morghur the health drain stayed on the priest after morghur routed because of a common bug with aoe abilities not turning off when units rout even if you go outside of their ability range

Legend should have used Spirit Leech on routing Morghur, which has regeneration and passive AoE damage... the warrior priest would have survived and the lord would have more HP left.
The save file didn't have any mods attached so he might have turned off a lvl increase mod before sending it to me. As long as the save file doesn't crash my game then I don't care what mods people use. about 50% of all save files sent in have the one button respect mod installed, but its vanilla compatible.
I've never seen him not do it on the first try in his livestreams. If he resets, he usually does it like 1 minute in because he didn't like the positioning or something
I remember him saying once that sometimes he'll look at a disaster battle or situation and try it but realise it's beyond saving or not even attempting. Possibly in a live stream he said that a month or two ago he said that.
He's said at the beginning of a couple of them "I've been trying this for an hour" or "I've felt this battle out and made a plan". So I assume it's not super uncommon, but most times it seems like a first try.

Nice Fight. Can anyone confirm that if you give an AI faction money whether they spend that money or its ignored. In other words can you give a faction money so that it stays longer in a fight against another faction or acts as a buffer. Never sure when I do this if I am simply giving money over but the AI does not register the gift except in terms of diplomacy. Cheers
i believe they do use it. i am currently in a nagarythe campaign trying to paint the map and i didn’t get to finish off nagarrond because their last province is in the dragon isles. the order tide is now going for him and i am currently picking off the ordertide 1 by 1 and i am currently at war with reikland. i wanted naggarond to stall the dwarves. i checked their economy and they had moderate economy. i gave them a peace treaty with 300k gold which they gladly accepted and it made their economy rating very high after. note: this legit just happened 30 mins ago.

Just wild to me when people have treasuries like that. I always get bored and move onto the next one or more often, the next game.

I bought far too many games years ago and can't help but bounce between them and play 10 at once. Then I forgot about it and get excited for playing a new race or game/time period. Same shit with other games, I'll play RDR2 cause I'm into wild west shit for the day or week, then get into WW2 and go through all the Medal of Honor games haha.

@@tulkdog I have a 30 80 the only way to not have absolutely insanely bad FPS and the overworld map is to have unlimited vram. Otherwise it's like 20 FPS this game should not have been released you know what I would have been happy if they just never released the third one and they just kept on updating the second one. Because that's what basically the third one is the content update for the second one but with less content and then they removed a bunch of the second one stuff. I would not recommend anyone to buy Warhammer 3 even if it was on sale for like 10% price I would still say not to buy it

he doesn't charge anyone for SYDB, or anything else, he just pick up some battles that are interesting and make a video about them... The video monetisation is what pays him, nothing else, i don't know why you think he make people pay for him to do that!
Well i just downloaded the reiksguard mod and lemme tell you how my campaing went Boris todbringer conquered a bit of norsca territory Valmir von raukov destroyed clan moulder in 15th turn And karl franz Good god.... He just went batshit insane and defeated all the brettonian lords except enchantress fey Then he murdered ikit with 5 stacks of level 9 of infantry And next he just Slaughtered both the vampire counts and all the greenskins And i just sat there for 60 turns with my 5 armies at pfieldorf waiting for a confederation with reikland . And im still waiting xd
The balance of power mechanic is pretty silly. Nobody on the battlefield, on either side, is going to know or care how much ammunition the ranged units have left. In zero historical battles did an infantryman suddenly say, 'oh noes, our archers have run out of arrows. RUN AWAY!'

I wonder why you would play missile heavy army's anyway. (ofc when ur faction does not have monsters or u don't have enough heros) I mean, monster spamms are so much better.. Playing bretonnia rn with hyppo knights and a healer... Just killed 3 fullstacks skaven without one casualty... On the other hand playing skaven weapons team, facing one army of Idk last defenders where they have 10 monsters and half ur army is dead. Its so expensive and so weak. Like even legend did not manage to save that steam tank just don't get it xD life wizard, monsters or single entity = won battle with (almost )no casualtys.

I shot down 2 carnosaurs 2 bastilodons and then the absolutely massacred my units. ( the eshin. Guy 2 belows and the wizards dead or on the run) I sadly had no arcane conduits yet (was turn 30 or so)... Well. That happens to me alot when playing missile factions. My frontline get ignored, or when I put them further at front, massacred within a few seconds.

To follow up, morghur goes from 5 to 6 kills when the wizard dies. He dun did it.
That warrior priest's stress levels were clearly too high and he died of a heart attack.

I think the mortis engine effect was permanent due to a bug...poor priest.

Is it bugged? They have way too much health.
Spirit leech would have been pretty helpful vs their lord, not great WoM efficiency but it's not like you were using it for anything else.
Morghur has about 70% magic resistance.

Every time you upload a WH2 video it reminds me how lacking WH3 is.
Also whenever I look at my 15 hours WH3 played vs my 800 hours WH2 played time.

Weapons team armies are actually pretty good against monster spams so long as you have enough plague priests and you engage on favorable terms.

If you're attacking a walled settlement, you can basically just take out the towers and then shell them with artillery until they lose
