You are the best fusion teacher, hands down. I follow your lessons for years now and never saw one bad lesson. Thank you for all your hard work, brother! Blessings and prosperity to you.
Love these deep dives showing how long things *actually* take to do, and showing all the little details that gets lost in the «do this in 5 minutes* tutorials :) Anyone here remember the tutorials from the «Pirates of Confusion»-channel? That was some insane stuff going on in those fusion-tutorials.
Perfect workshop Casey. Hit the details, handled the pop up issues as they came. Re-used elements when needed. Fantastic! Enjoyed this very much. Thank you for sharing.
this is such a great tutorial for some fusion stuff you are such a blessing for this da vinci community actually and totally underrated of all this was such a great learn thank you and hope to bring such more tutorials like this for advance fusion
Hey. Would be interesting to see how to make a dragon‘s firebreath from a moving creature in Fusion…. Kind of fitting to „ House of the dragon“ or Godzilla/ Kaiju related.
Hey there; as a senior compositing artist here in France, just a word : I'm not the targeted audience anyway but I can confirm I would have done almost everything the same way, with a couple of minor exceptions* maybe ;). Funny to see someone lively doing the same job as oneself BTW. *not sure I would have made the clean plate this way at the beginning + even if not necessary here, I'm pretty sure I would have made a rock solid key for the robot (including fixing edges, light wrap, blablabla ...) 😉- again, totally aware it's not really required here :) Thx anyway :)
I've learned a lot from your videos, keep up the good work! I've been wondering, is there any way to fake a realistic shadow in fusion for green screen work, especially when it comes to creating a shadow for a person. Been messing with the shadow node and depth map but couldn't really come up with good results.
Hi Casey why not you edit cooking video using fusion.Because you have touched all aspects of the subject. Try and show how you can do wonders in cooking ?
Question: can you explain how to adjust the padlock things inside the spline editor after a intellitrack is done in Fusion v19. I have a clip where fusion loses track mid clip , so I have to run the tracker two seperate times, and I would like to manually “connect” the 2 seperate trackers to together. Is this possible?
Bro, When we create a 24 fps timline sequence for a movie .which have little different mixed fps clips like 60 fps ,120..etc for slowmotion.should I keep 24fps has timeline sequence or want to convert all footage to 24 fps. Does the slowmotion work great without converting the high fps footage in davinci resolve ? Bro please can you explain?
Hey Casey! I've tried everything but when I roto, one of the frames fail every time. I can't render it or save it to bring back into the loader. Tried options online to no avail. Stuck here now :(
Can I pick your brain !! I’m using beta 19 I shoot a feature in a harsh environment sound wise and even with a blimp and a high end mic I’m still getting noise wind in the whole production is there away I can add isolation on every clip in one hit rather one track at a time
Can someone please help me I have downloaded the resources but the video files just load a audio file in DaVinci on the iPad and not video on my iPad I can view and edit all other video file in DaVinci on my iPad but why not these???????
24:35 Magic Mask keeps skipping a frame at beginning. And when I try to do the second part like you do, the tracking data of the previous part just disappears. Have no idea how to proceed now :/
First off, I just want to say a huge thanks for sharing such in-depth, high-quality content for free. It's really awesome! I was watching your video and had a quick question: are you working in Linear Gamma and DWG even without using CSTs? I saw another video you did with Cullen Kelly (th-cam.com/video/N1l5AxlFcMk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nHENNbuszRm55cjp) where you guys talked about that being the ideal way to go. Could you maybe clarify this for me? When should we use CSTs to force Linear Space and when is it okay to skip them? Thanks again for all the amazing work you do. Your channel is a huge inspiration! 🙏💪

can you do a tutorial on how to work with low res footage in fusion, then deliver it as high-quality footage?
Casey has the gift of teaching complicated Fusion concepts into easy and simple steps! Thanks
Can someone pinch me, you mean, we finally are going to have, our video copilot guy, for Fusion, it's going to be awesome.
As soon as you mentioned that, I can hear the intro guitar song

Ahh man that's tough. May be a bug. I've had that happen on various projects, but don't know how to re-create it
@@CaseyFaris Thanks Casey. I ended up opening up on a different system and then export what I have done so far.
Can I pick your brain !! I’m using beta 19 I shoot a feature in a harsh environment sound wise and even with a blimp and a high end mic I’m still getting noise wind in the whole production is there away I can add isolation on every clip in one hit rather one track at a time
Yeah you can add it to the track and that will do it.
Casey, admit it: there was nothing in that mug you were holding in the beginning. 😂
Ummm... maybe? I think I had about .5 inches of cold coffee probably
Can someone please help me I have downloaded the resources but the video files just load a audio file in DaVinci on the iPad and not video on my iPad I can view and edit all other video file in DaVinci on my iPad but why not these???????

Ahh that sucks. Sometimes you have to try it a few times. Magic Mask can be finicky unfortunately.
Could an older computer be the issue? I only have 16GB RAM
Hey, I was wondering if we could collab someday. I mean, it's just a thought... haha.
Bro said the exact same thing I was thinking at the beginning 😂

Finally a legit Star Wars!!! Looks much better than that acolyte shite! 😂😂😂😂
Bravo! You've really impressed me
16:10 the masking out with the polygon didn't work for me.
Is it a free version issue? 😢
