6.5 or 8 ft aluminum pressure washing and soft wash truck skid.
Features:
8 ft heavy duty reinforced aluminum skid. Aluminum is 1/4 thick with a ladder rack and two side shelves. Our skids are built with heavier gauge aluminum and extra gussets to support machines being able to be mounted to the shelves. (Add $800 for a custom locking surface cleaner rack)
CRX 8 GPM 3500 PSI pressure washer (Honda upgrade add $800)
Three slim 100 gallon water tanks. These tanks are extra thick and feature lids on each side for easy access. The tanks are recessed on the bottom to allow flush plumbing. 6.5 ft skids have two slim tanks.
Three manual full frame aluminum reels with stainless steel manifolds. 8 ft skids have two 18 in reels and one 12 in reel. (Electric reels and wiring. Heavy duty USA made wiring and lugs. We also add a circuit breaker to protect the reels add $2000)
Remco 12 volt 7 GPM 100 PSI soft wash pump with viton seals to withstand chemical usage. The higher flow and PSI are more effective when trying to reach high peaks or shoot greater distances
Hydro Mixer soft wash mixing system. All valves and plumbing used in the Soft Wash Hydro-Mixer are designed for long life and with your pump in mind. With the use of proportional metering valves you get a much higher flow rate, which means no stress on your pump and greater distance when roof cleaning. (Valves are 1/2 add $300 to upgrade to 3/4 mixing valves and check valves)
Hydrauli-Flex Tech Hose Soft Wash Hose 1/2 with crimped 1/2 NPT fittings 200 ft
3-way bleach rinse valve with mounts, barbs, and stainless clamps. This prolongs the life of the pump by keeping the system fully rinsed out.
ST-510 soft wash gun with stainless couplers
Stainless steel 4 nozzle j rod to spray multiple patterns
Marine grade high quality Interstate battery that take the abuse of daily recharging and running low.
Hudson Float Valve to shut off the water when the tank is full and also allow the water to fill when needed
One inch buffer tank drain assembly. Custom crimped hosed with a ball valve. This works to drain the tanks, fill buckets, and act as an emergency wash station
Heavy duty aluminum tool box with battery mounts
High quality Kuri Tec poly braid hose used for all the soft wash plumbing
Buffer tank plumbing complete with Tiger Flex crush proof suction hose, strainer filter system, banjo fittings, and high quality stainless clamps
Every nut, bolt, and washer is rust resistant stainless steel. This cost a little more to build it this way but will outlast the cheaper alternatives.
Upgraded wiring on the pressure washer to double insulated 6 AWG wiring
Upgraded 10 AWG wiring and fuse links on the soft wash system

Those slim tanks are literally game changers for building skids. I have two of those bad boys arriving tomorrow. Only 140.00 to ship two tanks. Heck even ups ships the slim tanks.

@@ExpertPowerWash Cigar city. 799.00 for two tanks and 140 to 160.00 shipping freight. It was the best price by far. I am just one state away from them so that helped to keep the shipping down.
You and Doug Rucker build the nicest skids on the market. They are clean and simple to use. You guys don’t have a bunch of unnecessary things on there just to raise the price it simply and clean easily to use.
Really appreciate that. The layout was developed from me personally running my trucks for years. Efficiency was the goal.

Nice, Random question. I’m thinking about building one. Smaller but same idea. What thickness aluminum are you using for the shelves? I’ve been thinking if I should trying to find a shelf and just add it to the skid or making a shelf out of a sheet. Wondering about wall thickness of tubing also. 1/4 is great but maybe excessive. You know better than me though. I’m open to any suggestions. Thank you.

Did you siamese the two water tanks together I assume? Or is one for pw and other for soft wash?
Using those Uni seals makes for one less air leak on your soft wash machine. On my trailer I wish I would have done this instead of the Banjo fittings I have now. Bulkheads are always cracking from the sun and riding down the highway. I’m keeping my trailer as a backup or for larger commercial projects. It would be nice to do my trailer like that also

On Ricky skid I don’t see any filters leading from the garden hose to inside the tank? Was that at his request. Or is the 1 filter prior to the pump sufficient for the work effort?
You don’t need a filter before the tank. It slows the water flow. If you run the water spigot for 5-10 seconds before you hook up your hose you are good to go.
We usually tie two together for a 200 gallon buffer.

I’m new to the industry- what size truck do you need to put on that skid? F250 - 6 ft bed big enough ?
Yes that would be a great truck. We run 250s and bigger

Yes we do. We use the Noco.
Do you sell those water and Chen stickers?
I don’t. It’s part of the uniqueness of our skids
