The Randor/Keldor story line is the one that makes the most logical and tragic sense. The tie in with Hordak manipulating the events to push Keldor to his side was enjoyable as well. The MYP showing the fate of how Keldor became Skeletor was a great piece of story telling.
Great video! He man lore is surprisingly good. Since the release of the most hated, MOTU revelations, lots of videos on He-man are being made. I have probably learned more recently about this multiverse than ever.
A speculative video idea for you Scott: MOTU CLASSICS STACTIONS. What company could make them? What characters? Where could they be sold? Would collectors want them? Would they be cheaper or more expensive to produce than articulated figures?
Maybe things would've turned out differently of Prince Adam would have gotten him a puppy or Keldor hadn't used his MEGA slogan- Make Eternia Gar Again... Another great video for that master historian, so thank you very much sir! Honestly I can see how Classics & 200x had a great respect for the previous lore & tried to blend everything together. I wish more companies could follow suit.
5:42 "King Miro's Journey" is actually King Miro's second appearance, and that was a She-Ra episode, not a He-Man one. King Miro actually first appeared in the Filmation He-Man series episode "Search for the Past", where it is revealed that King Miro has been gone for many years; the search for King Miro is picked up again after so long when Man-at-Arms finds a clue to his whereabout. After KIng Miro is rescued, he decides to go on a journey to find out what's been going on with the rest of Eternia during the time he was locked up.
Thanks for the awesome history about Keldor's mother. I always thought Shakoti was his mother, and that she disguised herself to get King Miro to notice her. Thanks for clarification on how it actually happened.

The change in the two's relationship from friends, to brothers, to enemies is enough make an interesting special and/or mini series that'll make the liked of "Wicked" jealous. *Side note: I really hate how Kevin Schmuck turn Randor & Marlana into complete tyrants! If there is anyone in the Eternian royal family that IS a jerk (besides Edwina and Jeffery from the Filmation cartoon) it was Midor. This whole war between Skeletor/Keldor & Randor all started because of him, now one son is/was a puppet to one of the feared space dictators & the other has to suffer through the sins his father left to him.

(that is a compliment) Each time you "dig" into the MOTU history, I am astonished by how deep you can dig! I mean, please correct me if I am wrong, but this whole MOTU universe began as a humble toy line! I don't believe this in itself is unique, but the depth and detail, to me, is extraordinary! So, Hordak is superior to Skeletor? His "Master" so to speak? I was surprised by that. This is the best Skeletor Origin story that us fans truly appreciate. I believe 200X did an amazing job with character development and story telling, while respecting the original archive that Filmation laid the ground about 20 years prior. Nevertheless, a video that many of us fans would like to see is, why in the blue bowels of hades is Skeletor so incompetent? Seriously. Every scheme he concocts, fails miserably. If anything, he's Eternia's equivalent to Wile E Coyote.
Hey Scott, I keep forgetting to ask.... Is there a collected version of the mini comics that were attached to your Classics line? While my main characters are in a beautiful display case, I have kept some of the other figures in the box, but I still want access those stories. I have access all of the original mini comics, but is there a published trade or collection of the "new"ones (meaning your related run)? If not, is there one planned?
One thing I haven't been clear on is how exactly Randor's mother died by Keldor's hand. Did she just walk up behind him too quietly while he was holding a sword when he happened to turn around? Was he under a spell by Hordak and didn't remember doing it? Something else? All I've seen is her already dead on the ground when Randor walks in and Keldor apologizing.
That was all a bit intentional. Hordak was definitely pulling the strings. Whether he was possessing Keldor or did a little memory wipe is in the air. Either way it wasn’t Keldor acting intentionally. The situation was manipulated

And Dare is figthing The Dark (evil?) warriors and tring to unify the people of the planet with Kindness and heroic acts.

I would love for them to do something similar like they did with the original star wars script. Do a comics mini series based around the early ideas for He-man. Like He-man being the barbarian leaving his tribe and getting his powers from the green goddess, Skeletor being from the other dimension cool of skull faced people, and the right being over getting the two halves of the power sword to gain control of the castle. That would be interesting to see.

The technology angle was Filmation's take on him. Originally in the toy line (and in some other adaptations), he was a magic user like Skeletor, only more powerful.
So... Skeletor is John Wick? Here's what doesn't make sense to me: Hordak has magic, but it usually takes the form of a "techno-upgrade." Why is this merger of Keldor and Demo Man the only time we see what we might call a pure magic from Hordak, instead of Keldor being merged with some kind of technology like Hordak does when upgrading himself? Had Hordak his druthers Keldor should probably have come out of Hordak's restorative efforts looking like "NA Keldor," rather than the ol' Boneface we know and love. He didn't even get the gang tag armband the Horde got.
And here I thought Keldor's mother was a white woman from Jersey! :-D Seriously though, thanks for spelling this out, I'd always wondered about his mommy.

This is a side of motu that I would love to see brought to life in an animated series even more so that in my humble opinion the revelations series so far was a let down.
Considering that Randor could not produce viable, fertile children with Earthling Marlena Glenn if he WEREN'T some form of Human, I'm taking it to mean that Nugla and Gar are two "lost" branches / tribes / races of Humanity that got scattered to other planets because of some meddling aliens in the distant past, possibly the Trollan Overlords.

If you breed two animals from the same genus, but not the same species -- such as the horse (Equus caballus) and the donkey (Equus africanus asinus) -- you almost universally get sterile hybrid offspring (in this case, a mule or hinny). If a pairing is going to produce known fertile offspring -- such as Keldor, Adam, or Adora, who are all listed as having children in the Classics mythos -- the parents pretty much need to be of the same species. So the rich and diverse lineage of the House of Miro / Randor implies that Gars, Eternians, Etherians, and Earthlings are all different ethnic groups of H. sapiens.
I´ve a question regarding different languages in packages. Mostly Spanish and Portugese. Both languages share similar words and pronunciations. So why is there there need to write twice the same word on the packaging if it means the same for both languages. Of course they have to translate entire paragraphs. But when it´s just a single word like in 2 EN 1 why not keep it like that instead of writting it twice?

Is Skeletor's face actually bone, or does it just look like bone like Red Skull? Since Demo-man's face doesn't look like actual bone, more like bone shaped flesh with ears and a beard I'm wondering if it's the same for Skeletor? I get the whole floating head thing, but his face is so expressive, not just in the cartoons but on figures that it's like it isn't hard at all.
Esau, Reuben...Yes there are a lot of examples. But it was always because they forfeit that right through action or words. The same can be said for Keldor. Had he truly been virtuous, Hordak would not have been able to influence him, and he likely would be king.
I will be cool like a self accomplish prophecy if hordak is keldor's father corrupted by Despondos, creating a evil double and this is why Hordak have his twist interest in Keldor becoming like him, Evvvviiill and becoming Skeletor...🤔

Considering that Randor could not produce viable, fertile children with Earthling Marlena Glenn if he WEREN'T some form of Human, I'm taking it to mean that Nugla and Gar are two "lost" branches / tribes / races of Humanity that got scattered to other planets because of some meddling aliens in the distant past, possibly the Trollan Overlords.

I´ve a question regarding different languages in packages. Mostly Spanish and Portugese. Both languages share similar words and pronunciations. So why is there there need to write twice the same word on the packaging if it means the same for both languages. Of course they have to translate entire paragraphs. But when it´s just a single word like in 2 EN 1 why not keep it like that instead of writting it twice?

Is Skeletor's face actually bone, or does it just look like bone like Red Skull? Since Demo-man's face doesn't look like actual bone, more like bone shaped flesh with ears and a beard I'm wondering if it's the same for Skeletor? I get the whole floating head thing, but his face is so expressive, not just in the cartoons but on figures that it's like it isn't hard at all.
So he has a face and skin, it is just clear and you can see his skull through it. Otherwise how would he pronounce his P's without lips!

Esau, Reuben...Yes there are a lot of examples. But it was always because they forfeit that right through action or words. The same can be said for Keldor. Had he truly been virtuous, Hordak would not have been able to influence him, and he likely would be king.
