In Today’s topic we will learn how does a Linear Voltage Regulator Works and how to test if it is good or faulty.
To Test we need to set the multimeter on Continuity mode. A linear Voltage Regulator has 3 terminals Input , Ground , Output
To test the voltage regulator put the red prob on input leg and black prob on ground leg there should no reading or continuity.
Now keep the red prob on input leg and black prob on output leg there should no reading or continuity.
Finally put red prob on ground leg and black prob on output leg there should be a reading but no continuity. As per the reading this is a good linear voltage regulator
