For Godzilla vs Kong, I can definitely agree with you on the human stuff. Although I think Kong's humans are needed and are generally good, Godzilla's humans were definitely the absolute worst part of the movie. They should have cut them out entirely and spent more time around Godzilla on the hunt, as they've shown they can make him show tons of personality himself. On an unrelated note, they should have stuck with animating the kaiju with motion capture.
I love how on the jungle cruise part of the video you used shots from like 5 different rock films. It's small touches like that 2 your videos that make me laugh

While I was watching Ghoastbusters: Afterlife, I felt like a lot of plot points were either rushed through or left out completely. Like how the main character said she didn't believe in ghosts but then she just does without questioning anything

I was really hyped for the movie because of the cast but watching it bored me to sleep. I tried reading the book but I couldn't focus due to the weird names. *Sigh*
I will only say THIS about your take on Mitchells Vs. The Machines. The reason they reference pop culture from 10 years ago is because it's meant to be from Katie's childhood. Rihanna's "Live Your Life" specifically is the song that her and Rick used to sing together when she was a kid. Rick brings it back to try and reconnect with her and Katie, much like the audience, sees the song as outdated and something she's grown over. But at the end, she brings it back because she appreciates the positive memories that song brought her, thus completing her reconnection with her dad. Everything else is valid and I totally understand your points of view. Though it hurt seeing my favorite movie of the year at 40, I'll be mature and understand that it's all opinions and it's not like you're trying to insult fans of the movie or anything, quite the opposite in fact. I just learned about the existance of half of those animated Netflix show and movies, because it's impossible to get a conversation about any Netflix show unless it's something everyone is talking about like Squid Game or Bridgerton.
I haven’t seen Bridgerton (doesn’t look interesting), but Squid Game is a fantastic show so far. And if you want more Netflix content, I suggest watching Ozark, Arcane, Trollhunters, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, Dragon’s Dogma, and Bojack Horseman, to name a few. All are great shows that I highly recommend.

You look at some scenes and are like, “why did they cut that out?” Josstice league is honestly the worst DCEU movie ever made. Yes. Worse than BvS. Because at least you can argue BvS went for something that no movie tackled. That being Batman going through an arc of killing, and then remembering why he doesn’t kill. Josstice league is just DC execs trying to make their movies more like marvel.

Malignant was somehow one of my favourite horror films I’ve seen last year (and yes, it’s definitely the hardest film to talk about, especially regarding… ahem… that twist). On the other hand, Malignant is also unintentionally funny at some parts Edit one month later: The Suicide Squad movie was almost an R18+ because of the violence, but I think Warner managed to win an MA15+ after an classification review
Finch was Top 5 for me. A magnificent experience. The movie does a fantastic job of making you feel sucked into the movie. The movie having like two characters, and only like a couple other people show up in the entire rest of the movie really gave them room to develop the relationship and they did. Like Don’t Look Up it had an environmental theme, and I liked both for different reason, but would rank this higher.
Mitchells vs. the Machines slander aside, I absolutely love these ranking videos! I imagine they're a nightmare to edit, but I could hear you talk about the movies you've seen for hours and never get tired of it! On a sidenote, have you heard of the commentary channel Razzle? They're absolutely hysterical, and they've done several videos on movies that you've talked about before, like The Cat in the Hat, Alvin and the Chipmunks, and Pixels (the last one being my personal favorite)

The only tv series that got me invested and made me wait in between seasons was Cobra Kai. Cobra Kai season 3 was one of the best seasons in terms of character progression, story and it has so many twists and turns that made me excited for season 4. Cobra Kai season 4 was a great season overall, although the story for me didn’t felt as great as season 3 (not sure about season 1 or 2 being better, to me all the seasons are great. Season 3 is currently my favourite as of this post). I still enjoyed the season as a whole and it sets up a lot for future season(s). Diamondbolt and to anyone reading this comment, please watch Cobra Kai, it is a great series to watch, entertaining like hell, has old faces from previous movies kicking ass again to newer characters learning to kick ass, both older and newer generations learning to progress themselves through life while dealing with either past or present conflicts/issues and learning how to overcome those conflicts/issues. Next season (Season 5) is already filmed and that I hope it is not too long of a wait to watch (fingers crossed, probably dropping around December 2022, most likely). It is my highest suggestion/recommendation to watch this series, it is one of the best continuations of a story from the past brought to modern day and that brings in new characters in, passing the legacy forward without rejecting the past. 9/10 show for me.
I watched Raya and I wish they had them stay as statues for longer. The gem not working until almost everybody was trusting each other. The statue could have been uncovered after the cloud thingies had moved on. People would have realised by the way they are standing that they trusted each other. Thus causing people to trust each other a bit more.

Suicide Squad was probably my second favorite movie of this year. It was so damn good

I went to ghostbuster afterlife. I say it is the best of the trilogy. Yes, I say trilogy. Anyways, I have been a ghostbusters fan for as long as I can remember. So my dad and I went to the theater, and sat down, talking about our theorys on the movie. Then a 7 year old walking in front of us and sits down. HE TALKS FOR THE WHOLE MOVIE. If I had a proton pack I would aim it at that child’s face.

king kong vs Godzilla was basically batman vs superman these 2 fight each other then a new monster shows up and they both team up to take it down
The difference is that it doesn’t take itself seriously and it knows when to have fun.

Malignant was somehow one of my favourite horror films I’ve seen last year (and yes, it’s definitely the hardest film to talk about, especially regarding… ahem… that twist). On the other hand, Malignant is also unintentionally funny at some parts

Finch was Top 5 for me. A magnificent experience. The movie does a fantastic job of making you feel sucked into the movie. The movie having like two characters, and only like a couple other people show up in the entire rest of the movie really gave them room to develop the relationship and they did. Like Don’t Look Up it had an environmental theme, and I liked both for different reason, but would rank this higher.

On a sidenote, have you heard of the commentary channel Razzle? They're absolutely hysterical, and they've done several videos on movies that you've talked about before, like The Cat in the Hat, Alvin and the Chipmunks, and Pixels (the last one being my personal favorite)

The only tv series that got me invested and made me wait in between seasons was Cobra Kai. Cobra Kai season 3 was one of the best seasons in terms of character progression, story and it has so many twists and turns that made me excited for season 4.
Cobra Kai season 4 was a great season overall, although the story for me didn’t felt as great as season 3 (not sure about season 1 or 2 being better, to me all the seasons are great. Season 3 is currently my favourite as of this post). I still enjoyed the season as a whole and it sets up a lot for future season(s).
Diamondbolt and to anyone reading this comment, please watch Cobra Kai, it is a great series to watch, entertaining like hell, has old faces from previous movies kicking ass again to newer characters learning to kick ass, both older and newer generations learning to progress themselves through life while dealing with either past or present conflicts/issues and learning how to overcome those conflicts/issues.
Next season (Season 5) is already filmed and that I hope it is not too long of a wait to watch (fingers crossed, probably dropping around December 2022, most likely).
It is my highest suggestion/recommendation to watch this series, it is one of the best continuations of a story from the past brought to modern day and that brings in new characters in, passing the legacy forward without rejecting the past. 9/10 show for me.

I watched Raya and I wish they had them stay as statues for longer. The gem not working until almost everybody was trusting each other. The statue could have been uncovered after the cloud thingies had moved on. People would have realised by the way they are standing that they trusted each other. Thus causing people to trust each other a bit more.

That resident evil film botched up two games in the series rather than even trying to focus on a single game-also miscasting Leon and wesker horribly and not having them act like their game counterparts (MAKING LEON INCOMPETENT TO THE POINT THEY EVEN ADMIT SO IS A DISGRACE TO THE CHARACTER)
And the Masters of the universe show is outright disrespectful to what it’s being built upon as characters suddenly act out of character to what they were before and the fact that He Man who was once the main character is now second hand bitch constantly dying because Kevin thought it would be cute to do so to piss off the fans while everybody looks concerned as he burns any good will he had with people who looked up to him.
