The 2026 Giulia successor will most likely be only EV (even though, apparently, the STLA Large platform on which it will be built can also house ICEs). So unfortunately no.
We all have to be realistic here. The time that car brands get to develop their own platform and engine range is over. Without some sort of commonality a brand will just not survive. Taking that into account, I think Alfa Romeo did a good job giving this car its own signature. Now let’s hope that this car will sell well, and put the brand back on the map. Then I am sure a worthy successor to the Giulia or Giulietta will follow in time.
Not true. Brands shouldn’t ruin the heritage or line up of a car with trash like this. Toyota made a whole new engine for the Yaris GR which is super niche. Mazda produced a brand new 3L diesel (in this day and age) for their CX60 SUV and I can go on and on.
@@FOXHOUND4143Toyota also worked with BMW for the Supra and other makers too. So yeaaaa… I work in the Auto industry and it is true. Those days are gone. VW and Ford are literally giving each other their cars and changing a few things to bring them to market.

If I were to buy I'd replace all of the badges with the proper, colour, versions still found on the Giulia and Stelvio.
I am passionate about Alfa Romeo and owned 4 of them, and still own a Giulia Quadrifoglio. But honestly this one is pretty ugly and it has nothing really to share with Alfa Romeo history. Let's avoid talking about the poor engine choice by Stellantis, a shame for the brand... The styling, it could have a few design hints from the past here and there but they are very poorly put together so the end result is not good at all.
it's growing on me. Personally I would have stuck with the Brennero name. Secondly Like you say the styling has a lot going on. Given that the basic shape of the car is set by having to use that Stellantis chassis, they have done a god job. Alfa traditionally get the styling right. I remember the Mito coming out and thinking it looked a bit odd in the pictures. But when i saw one, I loved it and bought one. I'm not sold on full electric but a hybrid could end up on my drive!
Its like people forgot suddenly what alfa is all about. One of the MAIN integral elements that has made ALFA respected -is their willingness to be fearless with the design of the cars. look at the history of alfa -some of the most beautiful , and then weird ones (avant gaard) maybe people don't remember this but when the Milano came out in 1985, people hated it, said it "looked like it had been rear ended".... now its revered. I'm not saying I love this car,( i don't because I'm not an suv person) but its design tracks.
I own an Alfa Giulietta and I drive Alfa since 1983 (Sud TI, Sprint QV, Sud 5m, 33 QV, Spider, Giulietta). Alfas always pushed my heart to buy them, mainly it was a decision by look and feel (drive and sound) and not by head. Yes, there were problems, especially corrosion on the Suds, Sprint and 33, but all others were fine, reliable and expecially the Giulietta is a beautiful and extremely reliable car. The Milano does not at all catch my eyes, the front looks terrible. For my more old age, the vehicle is much too black finished, I miss the chrome or polished aluminium details. The inside door panels are hard plastic as far as I heard, which is a nogo for me. What I absolutely do not understand is, that the electric version does not offer the Alfa feeling which I thought will be implemented: vibration generator in the seats, sound generator and, most important, artificial gear shifter (manipulating the torque of the electric motor in a way, that you can use a software gear shifter to make you feel sitting in a combustion car).
The Stelvio SUV evolved from the Giulia sedan. I was hoping all along this new vehicle would be more of a hot hatch design. Perhaps an evolution of this platform would be a lower 2 door coupe / 4 door sedan in the same vein as the Alfa 145/146 /147 to catch the younger customers.
I smile every time I see a Guilia. I wince when I see a Stelvio. Not because it's banal (it is) but because it offers so little utility over a Guilia. Why drive something thats a foot taller than what is needed?
Hi Ron, I agree pretty much with everything you said. The part I like the least is the front, it is too busy, instead of the C shape, making a derived headlamp from the Tonale would be much cleaner, nicer, simply more beautiful IMO. The back: it’s not bad, for me it resembles too much of the back of KIA EV 6. The side view is really good. Alltogether is not bad at all, from a lot of angles it looks really great, but with a more polished front it would be an outstanding car. Alfa seems to have an issue drawing spectacular fronts since the 159, I am not much of a fun of the nose of the Giulietta too and the front part of my Giulia is also not the most beautiful part of the car. But the rims are modern classics, the Biscione on the C pillar is epic, the coda tronca looks like a baby Stradale. The interior is much less dividing, I instantly fall in love with the airvents, the telescope is still there in front of you, the seats - any sport car enthusiast will be jealous of those. There is no aftermarket tablet on top of the dashboard but nicely integrated. Really only the starter/DNA button is the one that is wrong - i guess due to cost cuts. The question for me will be the drivetrain and the suspension. Im afraid the stellantis hybrid drivetrain will not be much joy but let AR suprise us…
I think it looks good hopefully it'll sell well especially the price is not too high comparing to other brands. I was hoping it'll be more curvy rather than the boxy look but the back and front is growing on me
...because this isn't really an Alfa Romeo. This is a Peugeot 2008, chassis and engines, with an Alfa Romeo 'design' touch. Yes, the platform is used on some other vehicles as well. That said, I'm not against the Milano. This is expected from global manufacturers. Doesn't Porsche does the same with its SUVs that are all Audi/VW platforms and engines? It's expected.
I am wondering how it is possible that everybody know, that this car is built on the STLA Stellantis plattform but all of you are sure that nobody else won't heard about this top secret information and you have to share with us.
If they push 10 of them Alfa sales goes up to 100% , like the MiTo! Sad but true...And the last Milano/75 was ye ol Giulia segment, doesnt seem right. MiTo Sportcross would be the right term
Sitting here outside in the pub sipping on a beer and what do I see...a similar Peugeot driving by...not even one Tonale in traffic yet to see either... FIAT should get the FUCK OUTTA DODGE from Stellantis
... they said no to VW too so why Stellantis...Alfa is going to be the exclusive brand of Stellantis? Marchionne took Alfa to the states and kicked Germs ass directly Ame for the throat and it worked...these fukkin discocars all look the same AAH!!!
As an Italian and as a diehard Alfista I am officially dead indeed today after this atrocity. I don’t know what of Alfa is left, maybe the wheels?? The design was made by a Spanish designer! The platform is the same as a Pegeout! A frkn Pegeout!!!!!!!
I feel the Italians have been left out on the realization of this product, almost as if the Italians were barely guests or consultants. Alfa Romeo without Italians is not Alfa Romeo. It’s like you ask Picasso to paint like Caravaggio and that’s what a Spanish designer can do indeed with an Alfa Romeo: a total mess!
I am sorry Ron, I love Alfa Romeo, I am Italian and I follow your channel, I have 2 Stevios, my dad had Alfas in the past too so this is the day that all petrol heads weren’t really wishing. I understand the shared platforms and I understand the soulless batteries but come on a Spanish designer who doesn’t understand nothing about Italian design is an insult. Italians have a very long tradition of designers , Giuggiaro, Pininfarina, you name it, we surely not need amateur designers from other countries to design our cars but now that the Alfa is no more in our hands this is the death of Alfa History and Heritage, everything dies today if also the Stelvio and Giulia will follow-up with this nonsense. When I will switch to electric I am afraid I will look at Honda.
When you talk about being nice or standing out, you talk ignoring the reason for the controversy. This is NOT an Alfa Romeo design. It's an attenpt of a designer who ignores Alfa Romeo values and heritage to stand out. This has been achieved. But it could be an achievement of a Kia,a SEAT, a Nissan Juke or Renault Megane.... And should be called PaPo . Engineered in Paris, made in Poland (For the Alfisti the MiTo was named to express the origins...designed in Milano, built in Torino...) The Centro Stile is no longer in Milano and that's made in Poland...first ever Alfa to be made outside Italy. Maybe that's why they had to design the first ever Alfa Romeo that does not look like Alfa Romeo....
The problem is Stellantis : it's more or less the same car for every brand: Peugeot, Jeep, Fiat. Good: the interior. Bad: the design. It's a better Peugeot 2008 with some Alfa Romeo logos, and no alfisti want to buy a Peugeot. However I am waiting to see it in person, may be it will be ok. But the main problem is not the design, but engines: either the hybrid engine, from Peugeot (PureTech engine, one of the worst), or electric. May be the 240 bhp will be great, let's wait and see.
I'm ok with the design even if it's a 2008 in disguise. ...But still, a nice looking sub compact SUV. I share the main problem. The engines... Let's see.
I love that design! There's no ugly part or side. Interior design is stand apart unique. That scudetto grill is awesome. They should redesign the Giulia and Stelvio similar to it. It looks mean like the Predator face. Thumbs up! I dig it.
From my viewpoint: - 8.5/10 for styling and design, as they don't bring another pure brick or blob shaped vehicle in this category. There's not much room for experimentation in this category unless you want to affect the passenger space. - 6/10 for tech, has a decent battery and enough power for a city car, but doesn't offer things like V2X, 22kW AC and a few other bits that should at least be available as options in 2024. - 3/10 for the price, They can't start at this value when their own sister cars are significantly cheaper the Fiat 600e starts at 31,5k€ and the Jeep Avenger EV 34,6k€ . For other brands in this segment the Volvo EX30 is at 35,9k€ or the Renault Megane E-Tech at 38k€. All these prices are from their domestic Italian market.
Nothing wrong with the design but You buy Alfa Romeo becoz its made in Italy. Built and assembled by the hands of Italian factory workers. Forged wheels made in Italy 😭.
First the time of the busso is finished. I had a lot of fun with my father's car. I'm not a fan of SUV but need to say that it's the most sold for the moment. I'm disturbed by these black and white logo but maybe they will last better then the one I had on my Brera witch at the end lose all the color. Let's see how the car behave on the road......
It looks a great city car. Big boot, plenty of rear seat room, a great looking dash that has plenty of Alfa character. Like you I love the Sabelt sport seats. It’ll take time to get used to the nose. I would have liked a more slender, tapering nose but I think what Alfa will be really striking on the road. There were similar criticisms of the Alfasud when it was launched…Not a real Alfa because it wasn’t made in Milan. The 156/147 weren’t real Alfas because they had FIAT engine blocks, they didn’t like the look of the front of the Giulietta or Mito but now we see they were 10 years ahead of the rest and now look great. Sometimes I wonder what makes of cars the criticisers actually own. I think I’ll be buying the hybrid as our city car to complement, my Giulietta Vel. and 4C. The three cylinder triple I’m sure can be made to sound like an Alfa if Triumph can make their triples sound so good, so I’m not worried about that. My ego doesn’t need it to be the quickest in a straight line but I like to corner. If it does this well I’ll be happy. I want it to be ableghave an all-electric function for short trips to the shops and local errands. If it can do this the hybrid will be perfect for my wife and I. Love your discussion, Ron. Glad we have a few passionate Alfisti on TH-cam.

This is a beautiful small car. quite and modern. perfect for commute. haters should not buy if they don’t like it. I can’t wait for EV Giulia Quadrifolio.
Thanks for your comment Ron! I always enjoy watching your videos. I'm not sure if I can call myself "real Alfista" but I own Giulietta for 5 years. My first Alfa...I chose her because she looks completely different than all Golfs, Astras or A3s. My reflections... 1) we must remember that electric cars made by various manufacturers (VW, BMW) look more or less different than their previous non-electric models. So that's the design and styling language. Alfa wanted to do the change. 2) black roof is an option luckily, because I don't want new Alfa look so similar to Opel Mokka or Toyota Yaris Cross. Or maybe it's trendy? 3) I'm from Poland and I'm proud that the newest Alfa is going to be produced here. I don't understand the Italian politician complaints, though. For many years Opel Astras were produced in Poland and I can't remember German politicians complaining that Astra is not manufactured only in Germany. FIAT owns a car factory in Turkey. So what? 3) Alfa's latest motto is ,,Join the tribe". The question is if it's petrol, electric or car enthusiasts tribe. Let's avoid tribal wars at this moment. I still believe Alfa can offer emotions to petrolheads! Let's hope for evolution of AR without sacrificing petrol engines...Thanks for reading🇮🇹💪
I think the fact that it looks so different just takes time to get used to it. At the first glance I was also not too happy with it, specially the lights, looked to me too french or on the back even a bit asian style like Kia but later on I thought that it somehow looks cool, something new. What we have to live with is the fact that the new cars are coming out of Stellantis and of course they want to save money using the same base for several cars/brands and they need to find a bit a modern style like all brands are bringing it, specially for EVs. They need something good to sell for the masses. But I really hope that next year’s Stelvio will be more classic Alfa look but of course with state of the art infotainment etc. Anyway ls I am going to get my Stelvio this year, I love the current one.
For the price and what it is it's ok as far as higher segment Alfas will be pure Alfas in the future. Plus more coupes and sedans. Having only SUVs and crossover damages the image.
Seats look fantastic. I wish Alfa would stop screwing around with the shape and proportions of the front grill. Milano grill looks way too triangular. The rear door handles are integrated into the pillar but why in the world did they use black plastic and not high gloss matching paint like the front handles.
I have spent a little bit of time in the cities from Milan to Rome and there are more than a few Alfa Romeo MiTos and Giulettas on the road. I hope the Milano turns out to be a worthy successor and not be cannibalized by the Jeep Avenger, Fiat and Lancia. This segment is pretty crowded in Europe.
I would have been happier if they got a Jeep Renegade or Avenger, use the same interior as 2024 Milano but with a Alfa Matta (military) style front. Could have called it Matta.
I actually like the looks. I don't like the Wheels that's been shown on it. I am in the camp that I wouldn't touch it as an EV, I agree on the seats Ron. Give me those seat in my Giulia!! And... Start/Stop needs to be on the steering wheel. I pretty much agree with your assessment. I just saw a short TH-cam video on the new Alfa Romeo Giulia SWB Zagato. Now that's a beautiful 2 door Coup!!
I believe some important members in the Stellantis board are from France, yes. That said, Stellantis main share holder is the Exor Holding company. As they say "A nod is as good as a wink" 😉
I predict the design will grow on many people. I think the one thing missing to make most people happy is a more powerful ICE version. That would also be useful for other models on the platform and I dont understand why they dont offer one.
The biggest issue I have is the back door handles being placed like a Nissan Juke. They should’ve followed the cue of Ferrari Purosangue with the back door handles. This car looks cheap af.
That style of back door handles was first time ever used on 156 (released at 1997) and 147 (released at 2000). So they comes direct from older Alfa's desings before anyone else and not from Nissan Juke. After Alfa the same style of door handles used by Seat on Seat Leon (released at 2010) and then many others too. Just for the info :)
Very true, I wish people did their homework before commenting. I have had lots of alfas in my time and love them. This one is slowly growing in me. So let's give it benefit of the doubt and wait and see what it drives like.
In a world already filled with over-styled crossovers, I just wish Alfa Romeo would have built an actual sports car that we could afford.. Also, 'headline from the snow belt', EV mania is over.
You and many of us, which are still a terrible minority in the car market. Brands adjust to sales to survive. ...and EV mania might be over, but regulations don't allow for other options for much more time. EVs will win in the end.
@@teerexness People who don't know sh*t are always the ones calling the shots (in case you haven't noticed). 😁 ...but anyway, I don't expect regulations to change due to the climate changes. It will be irrelevant either way cars have any real impact on that.
@@miks564 Climate change is a globalist fever dream and is phony as a $3 bill. Once people become increasingly awakened to this fact and once the government and their propaganda wing becomes increasingly irrelevant, we can go back to making decisions based on facts instead of collectivist agendas.
They just got their design language across the line up to match with the tri-lobo headlights. They should have designed something to go along with that to create some coherence among the models.
I don't see anything controversial about the car. And there hasn't been any controversy about Alfa going fully electric. The only controversial thing here is the quality of this video.
I was initially disappointed especially with the shield design and overall front, but then there are two versions and the ICE version looks alot better that the EV shield version. Aside from the Shield the front is still a bit too busy for me, could have been a alot simpler maybe more in line with the Tonale. But correctly they have not kept diehard alfisti like me front of mind which is a good thing, Alfa need to really focus on garnering new customers, Alfisti like me won't keep the brand up on our own. I'm sure they will sell alot of these. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.
Ron, liking your enthusiasm for the brand. Makes a change from a lot of the dissin' a lot of the US tends to have for the Italian brand. That front chipmunk tooth on the Milano, doesn't do it for me. It's too blatant. Having said that, I agree with your impressions of the Alfa Romeo traditional font badge on wire mesh front end, I don't think it suits the car. When they were tempting us with something that may have looked like this th-cam.com/video/AXNUG7ZVfxE/w-d-xo.html the announced model disappoints. I guess we have to recalibrate what this thing was built to do. It is the new MiTo, so its main intention is to get more youthful customers behind an AR wheel. Any chance you could reach out to Alfa and get them to agree to a factory tour walkaround? (One in Italy preferably).
Most of the people in the comments are missing the reality of the car market. ...or it's just me, seeing the thing all wrong. 😊 People in my country have to wait months just to be able to order a Giulia or Stelvio if you want a more sporty petrol engine (they're basically only prepared to sell the Diesel versions). We have to suffer and wait, and wait and have loads of patience and then wait some more, just to be able order one. ...and then some months more to get it. Basically, what we, the petrol heads that have some sympathy for this Alfa Romeo brand want to see coming out, is not what they're able to sell. Unfortunately they won't survive with only petrol head minded cars. General people just want fuel efficient SUVs. Most going for an Alfa Romeo, just want the "look", not the rest, not if they have to pay more for it. ...exactly just like those who are willing to pay more to have a German car and then go for the more affordable and economic engine with the sporty aesthetic finishes. Maybe the US market is different, but the thing is, the European brands from this group have just a niche market in the US if they have one at all. So, production is mostly tailored for the European market.
This Milano is a disgrace to the brand. This is what happens when the design team are constrained by cost-cutting. This Milano is based on the eCMP architecture that underpins the Jeep Avenger and Fiat 600e. As a result the Milano looks rubbish. I can't believe that all those guys in suits in Milan (of all places) thought this was a good design and would be fit for a brand new Alfa.
Yet another pointless, generic FWD based “SUV” An A4 sized sedan, under the Giulia, would have been something to get excited about. This might as well be a Mitsubishi economy SUV with an Alfa grill. The brand managers have lost their way.
Milano looks like an Alfa went sick on it. Alfa badge at every corner, I wouldn't be surprised if there was one in the glove compartment. It's an okay looking french car trying hard to be Italian.
From my point of view, this does not look like a real ALFA ROMEO, as it has many similarities with other models from other brands as has already been said here in this forum. a true ALFA has its own identity, and the DNA of the brand. It is true that there was a concern of the designers in the details that differentiate the ALFA ROMEO from the other brands, but looking at it, on the whole, I feel that something is missing. There is no perfect marriage between the whole and the details, there is a certain failed pretension!!
One thing is the design. They have made much better than this. But the worst is the performance. At least an Alfa must have a power engine not like this. A small Suv is not what Alfa is needing. A hot hatch to replace the Mito/Giulietta.
Simple, the car looks french and not italian, thats what you get when you put só many brands in one company. Who thinks this car looks good knows nothing about Alfa Romeo and Italian Design. Shame on Stellantis, the front looks renault and the back looks Peugeot. I have always driven Alfa Romeos, not anymore.
This car is about sales. Brand survival. ...And sales mean SUVs. That's the market, even if not what the usual brand lovers like to have from them. Look at Porsche: Near 50% of their sales are from SUVs made of Audi/VW engines and platforms.
@@miks564, sure i got your point, nothing against suv, i drive one myself. Its the exterior looks, is so lack of soul and sportiness, is só french. Pitty.
this one will in fact be a successseller but they could‘ve done so much better just by changing some parts A LITTLE. maybe a bit more sophisticated & smaller front lights, something more interesting and not so french with the tail lights + smaller alfa grill = banger!
I'm concerned that any Alfa character is only in exterior/interior designs; where are the unique pieces in the chassis to give owners the fun of driving? Even though the chassis items are out-of-sight, Alfa needs to be differentiated from its sister products. No Alfa should handle like a Jeep, for instance.
@@joaquimbarbosa896 Well, we won't know if the Milano handles any different than the Jeep Avenger until both are in-market. My point is that the two should not feel the same when driving.
@@rlsedition Yes we don't know, we'll have to find out buuut the ceo of alfa said they did everything to make handling the best in segment (And some of the choices in their equipment reflects that I think)
@@joaquimbarbosa896 The configurator didn't have much of anything that suggested performance, except maybe the racing style seats. I'm talking items like Brembo brakes, wide wheels/tires, fast-ratio steering and a lowered body. Perhaps those will be part of the Veloce model content?
@@rlsedition Quoting a news article I put in google translate here "According to Alfa Romeo, the Milano Veloce has the most direct steering in the segment (14.6:1), a sports suspension lowered by 25 mm compared to the others, specific front and rear stabilizer bars, front brake discs with more than 380 mm, four-piston monobloc calipers, Torsen differential and 20″ wheels “wrapped” in high-performance tires."
Sad! The last iteration of Fiat's 124 Spider was only brought about because Alfa determined that "no Alfa was to be made outside of Italy!" Just the same, an electric, refaced minivan? Haven't you had enough of these? And you're killing the Giulia? Maybe Fiat will bring the 124 back out for another run. 😢
Usually this kind of bashing is due to high expectations. This wasn't what they were expecting. I didn't have any expectations,so I can take the design as it is and be objective. The design is growing on me little by little.
Hyundai Tucson Front. Zagato SWB / Maserati 3200GT Rear. Terrible combination. The rear should have been the new Ypsilon. This car in general is another very costly mistake. its heartbreaking to see
It's like Renault Captur but uglier. Ron, this is not a good looking car, far from AR style. There is TOO MUCH in the front of this car. Too much holes, bends, its not AR!

Even jeep avenger is so much well made design wise. French bosses that dont respect the italian culture, shame on you Stellantis for making such a boring car, where is the soul, where is the heart, the uau efect? Large corporations share platforms - the same platform as the Jeep Avenger and Peugeot 2008 - and they have taken as much ALFA out of the platform as possible. It's an SUV, what more could you want out of it. But as an electric and hybrid, it will be a flop. Visually, it still looks better than the competition.
Not my cup of tea (particularly the front logo). But I do hope Alfa sells a lot of them, so we can have real Alfa Giulia sucessor and a convertible.
The 2026 Giulia successor will most likely be only EV (even though, apparently, the STLA Large platform on which it will be built can also house ICEs). So unfortunately no.

Love it. Will be a great success👍🔥🍀
I'm not saying I love this car,( i don't because I'm not an suv person)
but its design tracks.
Beautiful car.
Thats a Peugeot in disguise. The last Alfa made is the Giulia QV! What we are seeing here is a joke!
What can I say... a stunning car. Literally. Not as gorgeous as the Multipla, but it comes close.
from the front looks like a renault megane or clio and in the back like a peugeot 208 or 508
...because it's a Peugeot 2008 (not 208) with different design details.
I won't say it's good or bad, it is what it is.
Well said !!!
Super nice I want one!
I was hoping it'll be more curvy rather than the boxy look but the back and front is growing on me
Small SUVs all get a hard time on the look side of it.
The smaller the car, the harder to disguise the SUV typical boxy look all of them have.
you have to give these designs time . They are multi layered and designed to look good in 3 dimensions and natural light
Love it. Lets go alfa❤❤
Think the front looks great, rear not so hot but i will probably end up buying it anyways if it get's to SA!
A hybrid with just 136 hp, no thx.
im on my 5th Alfa Romeo now, never get one lol
Peugeot 2008 in Alfa skin with silly engines. No real Alfa DNA here. :(
...because this isn't really an Alfa Romeo.
Alfa sent me a live stream an hour ago, could not get in with my dumbass smartphone... what was that?
Great review
This type of car is popular in Europe and should sell well like the new Fiat 600
Not as pretty as my MiTo but still an Alfa
Not an Alfa Romeo that’s a rebadged Peugeot/ Renault……
Let's see.
Alfa Romeo for life ❤❤❤
I love that design! There's no ugly part or side. Interior design is stand apart unique. That scudetto grill is awesome. They should redesign the Giulia and Stelvio similar to it.
It looks mean like the Predator face. Thumbs up! I dig it.
From my viewpoint:
- 8.5/10 for styling and design, as they don't bring another pure brick or blob shaped vehicle in this category.
They said the price is 30,000 euros for base model so price wise not too bad
@@dinan4459 However, this applies to the hybrid version that will be on the market next year. The one that can be ordered starts at €41,500.
I think it would do well if brought to the states. I personally like it.
Nothing wrong with the design but You buy Alfa Romeo becoz its made in Italy. Built and assembled by the hands of Italian factory workers. Forged wheels made in Italy 😭.
Really like Alfa Romeo, but this design is so ugly. Just like Citroen from the front. Why did they do this ??
Would have kept the number plate on the side ,but a great looking car hope it sells for about £26000
First the time of the busso is finished. I had a lot of fun with my father's car. I'm not a fan of SUV but need to say that it's the most sold for the moment. I'm disturbed by these black and white logo but maybe they will last better then the one I had on my Brera witch at the end lose all the color. Let's see how the car behave on the road......
Initially I was concerned but now I like it. EV versions are inevitable and this takes a stand with styling and I hope it does well.
Alfa Romeo or not Alfa Romeo, the car is very nice and I believe it will be a real success
Love it absolutely ❤
Front looks like a Nissan and the rear, well!? It may grow on me and may look better in the flesh.
It likely will be, the milano was made in order to atract other costumers
For the price and what it is it's ok as far as higher segment Alfas will be pure Alfas in the future. Plus more coupes and sedans. Having only SUVs and crossover damages the image.
I see that the French were determined to destroy the Italian style and impose their horrible French Peugeot Renault style...
The death of Alfa, this is an average french car built in poland. where is italy here? Electric, meh.
Too many French bosses running around Stellantis...?! Probably the best PR in years at least...hahuh!
I believe some important members in the Stellantis board are from France, yes.
That said, Stellantis main share holder is the Exor Holding company.

@@alfaholicsgreece yes I know. Unfortunately it doesn’t look good with modern day cars. It looks cheap af.

Very true, I wish people did their homework before commenting. I have had lots of alfas in my time and love them. This one is slowly growing in me. So let's give it benefit of the doubt and wait and see what it drives like.
I hate the Milano. Thumbs down
In a world already filled with over-styled crossovers, I just wish Alfa Romeo would have built an actual sports car that we could afford.. Also, 'headline from the snow belt', EV mania is over.
You and many of us, which are still a terrible minority in the car market.
Brands adjust to sales to survive.
...and EV mania might be over, but regulations don't allow for other options for much more time. EVs will win in the end.
@@miks564 Regulations can and will be changed. This is what happens when outcomes are dictated by people who don't know sh*t.
@@teerexness People who don't know sh*t are always the ones calling the shots (in case you haven't noticed).

@@miks564 Climate change is a globalist fever dream and is phony as a $3 bill. Once people become increasingly awakened to this fact and once the government and their propaganda wing becomes increasingly irrelevant, we can go back to making decisions based on facts instead of collectivist agendas.
Even the government of Italy does not like it. According to their laws the car cannot be called Milano when it is manufactured in Poland.
Yeah it has grown on me already 😂 I will check it out when it lands in Australia
They just got their design language across the line up to match with the tri-lobo headlights. They should have designed something to go along with that to create some coherence among the models.
Best sporty car in E Mobility with character! But i love more the older cars!
I don't see anything controversial about the car. And there hasn't been any controversy about Alfa going fully electric. The only controversial thing here is the quality of this video.
Ça une ALFA plutôt un qashqai 😢
People in my country have to wait months just to be able to order a Giulia or Stelvio if you want a more sporty petrol engine (they're basically only prepared to sell the Diesel versions).
Volvo rear.. yuk... boxy and ugly front ..
Thanks Ron. Great video as always.
Pitty.

And it doesn't if I'm not mistaken
@@joaquimbarbosa896 Well, we won't know if the Milano handles any different than the Jeep Avenger until both are in-market. My point is that the two should not feel the same when driving.

Stellantis should sell Alfa Romeo to the chinese, they would respect more the brand. Clearly Stellantis only cares about Peugeot, and we can see that, since its the only brand with a good design. Even jeep avenger is so much well made design wise. French bosses that dont respect the italian culture, shame on you Stellantis for making such a boring car, where is the soul, where is the heart, the uau efect? Come on, Who says this is well made, knows nothing about Alfa Romeo history.
They're reviving alfa, lancia and fiat my guy. The milano is not an exemple of future alfa models, its an exception made for a wider variety of costumers

It's an SUV, what more could you want out of it. But as an electric and hybrid, it will be a flop. Visually, it still looks better than the competition.
