When I work on something in the dirt, I always do myself a favor and put down a sheet of cardboard or plywood. Saves searching when you drop things! Todd the retired trucker.
I laughed out loud, when you said be nice if this vice was mounted, then next shot was strapped down. Was totally something I would do myself being stubborn and persistent. Good job all around 👍🏻
You are doing a great job. I am jealous of your accomplishments. You have a great house and property and you have done it all on your own. Awesome work.
Perseverance, Patience, Ingenuity and a lot of Tools get the jobs done! I also end up with most of by bits and wrenches out on the job, after numerous trips. Nicely done!
Great work mate, good to see young truckies still can get contracts to own their own trucks, not in Australia anymore, all tied up by red tape and big companies, not as many owner drivers in Oz these days, definitely not many young ones..great work, great attitude to trucking, its all about looking after the gear 🤙🇦🇺
love this guys vlogs! im a canadian lviing in Australia now for 5 years, also driving a truck here now but watching this video makes me miss home. The trees, the grass, the dodge rams... Oh my..
I found it funny when you said . “If I touch these two ends together it should light up” and then the sound of disappointment you had saying uhg. We’ve all been in those situations man 😂
Great job Matt another day in the life of a trucker😊. Preventative maintenance goes a long way in keeping you rolling stay safe out there my friend and keep the videos coming catch you on the next one
Damn! I was taking my daughter back to Fanshawe college and thought I saw your truck facing the opposite way on the road. And said to her. “That looks like callthemall’s truck." What I didn’t know is you live there. Too cool.

That blue stand looks like it was for a dirt bike. Was great to see you use a torque wrench on those wheel nuts, whould never guessed the torque was 150 ft lbs, holy mackerel. Was cool to see a day of repair work on your equipment, nice job on the video.
Call the Tire Doctor. As a HVAC guy, climbing up a ship ladder, then walking too rooftop unit. Lol back down, get parts and same thing. I enjoy my job. Cheers
I went by your place today. Fri. I looked at the truck on the road and thought , hey I know that truck from somewhere. I get home and there you are on you tube.
Shoulda substituted a sledge for the vise. It will come in handy too if you ever have a wheel stuck on a hub or otherwise need some more than gentle persuasion.
Awesome video, better than TV You're not only amazing driving, you're a "Matt of all trades" hard worker too I'm hooked on your channel 😍 PS: 🐕🦺 LOVE YOUR PUPPY ❤
a tip mr, if your bults get stuck in your sockets on the milwaukee, grab the socket and hold it tight, drive the tool so it hammers in your hand when your grabbing the socket and the bult will fall out easy from the vibrations on the tool :)

Looking good driv,ah keep up the great work. The fire extinguishers you said were for the race team what's that about? Sounds like another video to me buddy.. appreciate ya driv,ah 😊
Fantastic video Matt, thanks for bringing us along for the battle. What happened to your poor rub rail on the passenger side of the pup?! Seems like someone gave it a good smack. Take care
If your license plate bracket swings freely back n forth maybe make an “L” Bracket for it, so the wind doesn’t blow it under the truck and hide your license plate. Few of us got busted near Lindsay by OPP because of the swing plate. $110 ticket.
@@callthemall thanks for the reply,, give me another channel to binge watch to catch up on tonight,, thanks again and I hope your freight, is moving better than it is down here in the southeast US
Great video, Matt. Thanks for sharing! Any tips for a fellow Canadian looking to get into trucking? Is there interesting local work other than food delivery?
It might be an idea to put your air lines out the back of your truck and run them under your trailer if it’s your own trailer it would help for turning lol
The idea with the old logging trucks is that rocks would get stuck in the steer tire treads, then shoot off in front of the truck, bounce off the road and right into the windshield of the truck, and the mudflaps would stop it
Sir what camera you use? I'm a trucker here in the Philippines at same time I'm a blogger trucker...I watch your video almost everyday.. I am a silent viewers you
Hi Matt I hope you don’t think I’m being a smart arse however just a suggestion by yourself one of those cheap ass plastic types that 12 x 15‘ light on the ground drive your truck on top when doing Maintainance. If anything falls it won’t go into the grass you’ll be caught by the topthat saves you rolling around in the crap. This is dictated via Siri so some of the spelling is wonky.
You do realize that you can bring more that one socket or bit of various sizes with you so you dont have to keep walking back and forth right? Or is it that just Canadians that prefer the extra 30 trips to get the correct size?
Great job Matt another day in the life of a trucker😊. Preventative maintenance goes a long way in keeping you rolling stay safe out there my friend and keep the videos coming catch you on the next one
you're a Canadian I look up too. very humble and teaches a lot. You lead an example that other young men could follow and respect

Dude. This was an awesome video of your job. It never ends. Loved watching you wrench. You have a patience I've never seen before!!!

I don’t know if you’ve ever been told this, and frankly, I would be shocked if you haven’t.
I’m proud of you! 👊🏻👍🏻

May I suggest: a little wagon, like a Radio Flyer type for tools and things.

Great video, Matt. Thanks for sharing! Any tips for a fellow Canadian looking to get into trucking? Is there interesting local work other than food delivery?
Yes there can be lots of local work around, depending on where you are. Fuel tankers and dump trucks, LTL van, certain flatbed stuff. Lots of options!
good job
You go to most of the same places I used to go when a was pulling a flat bed is your dispatchers name Nicole lol
One of the brokers I work with lol

I have an idea for your Moffet forklift, maybe get some airless tires
Do you ever come to Prince Edward Island trucking
Just a question, what is the purpose of front mudflaps is a purely for looks or is there also a practical reason? Just wondering
The idea with the old logging trucks is that rocks would get stuck in the steer tire treads, then shoot off in front of the truck, bounce off the road and right into the windshield of the truck, and the mudflaps would stop it

Who maintains all the brakes and wheel bearings on your trailers?
I grease it then I have a local shop(s) that does the bigger stuff, though it’s only a year old so the brakes are still good
