campaign is not good,when rain cant see shit.very less zombies on level 3 and above there is only less then 100 zombie spawn,game very boring no hordes you dont get to see new places since there is only two maps,last 3 maps is returning back,although i love the music though
hard rain is not really a bad map but compare to other maps,it had lesser horde,lesser zombies,except that it is hard and challenging in realism,rain is realistic i agree,but i prefer swamp fever cos going back to the usual survival horror zombie shooting game is more like it for me.I played expert before,in level 3 most zombie spawn is outside the gas station then in the middle where there is a tank,then if your teammate is behind,there will be almost no zombies near the end except SI s.just look at how many zombies died,its comfirmed that other maps with 5 levels had more zombies died then hard rain,usually less then 800 zombies died in hard rain,while other maps had like 1300 or more. it might be the last map they created before they distribute the game since they put in lesser efforts to hard rain to meet the deadline market.

I always thought the Southern setting was more interesting than the 1st one. The first one only used it's setting to make things look darker, which isn't a bad thing. I like both games equally in their own ways, but in terms of looks, a lot of the L4D2 campaigns look nicer than the darker, mostly nighttime-based maps of L4D1. Same goes for the cast, love em both just the same too.

That's me playing musical saw during the Dark Carnival theme and that's me again playing bottleneck slide with my self-made Nobro resophonic guitar and stomping my foot during the Hard Rain theme. It's very sweet to hear this stuff. Not being a gamer, I thought that the only way I'd get a chance to hear any of this was via playing the game. So, I had given up on ever having the opportunity to do so. Thanks for sharing it!
A Nobro is a six string resophonic (mechanically amplified) guitar, of my own invention. It is a hybrid of the two popular brands of resophonic guitars, which have been in use for about the last 100 years, National and Dobro. (National + Dobro = Nobro) I fashion my guitars from repurposed unwanted materials and discarded junk, which gives each one unique, one-of-a-kind tonal qualities. This effort allowed me to add my own personal resophonic sound color to my performances without being imitative. Innovate don't imitate.
Yes, and a good many others also added their part to this soundtrack. I wasn't made aware of how my additions to the soundtrack would be used at the time. I only recently found the music posted here at YT, years after the game was released. That's when I learned that two of the main themes, Dark Carnival and Hard Rain were based upon my efforts in the studio and featured me playing musical saw on the Dark Carnival theme and my self-made guitar on the Hard Rain theme. I feel very honored to have had my musical efforts so prominently included in this project. I thought the music director did an excellent job of mixing my addition with his vision.
I fucking loved the atmosphere in Dark Carnival's. Made it feel like a genocidal circus with a full parade. Swamp Fever's violins were fantastic, and the atmosphere fit the music. Hard Rain's was intense, mixed with the weather FX. The Parish was my favorite, simply because of the trumpets and that "this is where it ends" type of feeling.
Dead center is pretty cool it has sort of a bango theme and sort of a rock style at certain points ill also love the last part of it with that southern accent to it

The first time I stuck around was in The Sacrifice, I heard the music and got sad about Bill and then unexpectedly that static started up which I never knew was in the game before hand and I just so fucking pumped it was badass and that's why I think that the best theme is the one for The Sacrifice

dead center- very lonley and slow,it shows how the suvivers are left alone and not shure of what is going on dark carnival- errire, there is someone there yet there isn't, it fits in well with the feeling of carnivols that are empty and dark swamp fever- very sharp and highpitch, to show the poor areas and show how anything can pop out of anywere, sounds like it is something a hillbilly would play
