Graphtec CE5000-60 Vinyl Cutter: Contour Cutting with a Mac

How to contour cut a T-shirt transfer sheet using the Graphtec CE5000-60 vinyl cutter's Automatic Registration Mark Sensor (ARMS), Adobe Illustrator CS3 and Graphtec's Cutting Master 2 plug-in on a Mac.

i'm using a carrier sheet, how's the best way to load it "as straight as possible"? i have the issue where if it's at a slant (looks straight to my eyes, but i have no way of knowing that it's not at a small slant), and when it begins cutting, it will cut slightly inside the image on one side, and then outside the image on the other side (slight white border). i can only get it to cut perfectly around a handful of times, not every time. at first i thought this was blade angles or offset settings, had nothing to do with it.. it's definitely me not inserting the carrier perfectly straight. need a fool proof solution :(
