    I’ve seen those in wall cable hide kits before. The one I liked best had the two faceplates the same as yours, and also had a flexible tube that you run between the faceplates. This tube makes it really easy to just drop in your cables and have them slide out the bottom. Then it’s super easy to get cables in and out.

    Ha, mine is almost exactly the same - same Art3D panels, and a similar (but bigger) swing arm mount. One thing I did with the panels was to build a frame out of 1x2s, back it with thin hardboard, mount the panels to that, and hang the whole thing on the wall so as not to mount the panels permanently to the wall. I also didn't bother installing an outlet behind the monitor, I just ran the power cable down through the wall, even though it's against code, since it was only going about two feet. I may come back and fix that up sometime soon though.

    Becareful with the LG 34GK950 when cleaning, the screen is very fragile and will break way too easily. They improved upon that with the LG 34GN850 which makes it much more durable.

    Hello,
    I really enjoyed the video and it inspired me to do the same thing for when I build my setup.
    I just have a question about whether this will work with a curved monitor?
    Anyways you just gained a sub!
    ~stay safe~

    • @PCBattlestations

      Thanks and you stay safe too! My LG is a curved monitor so it will work. It just needs to be Vesa compatible. Then find a Vesa mount that will fit your monitor.

      Thank you so much for your reply, could you suggest me a solid monitor for around 150USD?
      I was thinking to go with the Sceptre 24" Curved 75Hz (C248W-1920RN) but if you happen to know any better options I would greatly appreciate it :)

      @@ventus1510 That would be a decent one. Earlier this year this one used to be $160 but looks like they're jacking up the prices now: www.amazon.com/dp/B083FMP35T/ref=psdc_1292115011_t3_B07GD7H18F

    • @PCBattlestations
      @PCBattlestations  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      LG 34GK950F-B can do higher refresh rate at 144Hz, Alienware can do 120. LG also claims 1ms response time, Alienware is 2ms but you'll probably never notice lol. Love my LG

    I can’t cut any holes in my wall, do you think I can route the 3 monitor wires behind foam noise reducing panels?

  • @Blaquegold

    Hello great setup. I have this same monitor. Do you get black screens when using hdmi? Sometimes when I am using it for my work the screen goes black then comes back. Sometimes it goes black and does not come back so I have to unplug the hdmi from my laptop then plug it back before I get the image again. I have not had that problem via display port yet.

      PC Battlestations hmmm thanks for the reply. Maybe it’s just the work laptop and the monitor is too strong for the laptop graphics card.
