It's a little more makeup than what you're asking for, but I've been using SuperGoop Glowscreen and then Tarte's Amazonian Clay bb tinted moisturizer. The combo gives a really nice natural look. And then I've been using the Coty Airspun for years, but I know that that's not everyone's cup of tea.

i just use a burnout spf (it's like $8 on amazon) and then i will throw on some concealer and then i top it all with the powder foundation Taylor used. then i use the catrice dewy prime and fine setting spray over top. BEAUTIFUL combo. really fast. just slap on some mascara and I'm good to go.

Salicylic acid doesn't just treat acne, but exfoliates, and the Paula's choice has hundreds of 5 stars. I think we box salicylic acid into just for acne type product. Glycolic Acid is amazing too to help with acne, as a good daily gentle exfoliation, while helping with texture issues and giving healthy, fresh, smooth skin. Can you review the Australian Gold tinted spf people are going crazy for, as a primer and worn alone? The shades seems a little wonky.
The Australian Gold has been around for a long time. They just finally came out with more shades that's all. It's pretty great, I've warn it a long time.

I've been testing this foundation this past week and I am IN LOVE!! I have oily acne prone skin. No breakouts and the oils that come through are very natural without breaking anything down! New holy grail!
@@denay92 I don’t know that, that’s true. Dr. Dray has spoken about this and said the products don’t actually make you more sensitive to the sun, but rather these types of products degrade sunscreen faster meaning you need to find a way to reapply sunscreen over the makeup more frequently.
The BHA doesn't work instantly to exfoliate, so it works just as well to apply at night. It exfoliates gently over time, so you'll still get good effects using it at night.

I’ve been using the Aveeno hydrate, sweat proof, waterproof spf 50 and with the paulas choice it does give me a glow. If I don’t wear make up, I just do those two products. Has a sunscreen smell but it’s not over powering and doesn’t make me want to throw up. Works good under foundations . I like supergoop, but they’ve been out of stock on Sephora, so I went for a drugstore brand to try and glad I picked this up.
Omg 7 lreps and primers before you even pu foundation on.....over kill and absolutely gross. Can you please remember most of your fans are very impressionable young girls. I have large pores and super oily tzone. I love the Dr Brandt Pores No More Primer with the NARS soft matte foundation. As my oils break through during the day, this foundation looks great! It almost looks refreshed with my natural oils. It’s a grail foundation for me for sure. 👍
I have the same skin type and use Dr Brant primer as well. Seems like not enough people talk about it. I also like it on it's own if I have no time for foundation but just want something on my skin to smooth my texture and control my oils.

Now that my skin is doing so much better i decided to give matte foundation another go. And after seeing the vid for the Nars Soft Matte I went ahead and bought it and omg it is beautiful. My skin look velvety and it really does last all day without looking too makeup-y. I always trust your judgment when it comes to foundations !!

I’m still using the bondi sands mouse Taylor recommended and it’s the single only self tan I’ve ever used that didn’t streak, perfect color, and faded nicely- soooo yeah I trust her for this!!!
It’s helpful to avoid using a chemical exfoliant in the morning. They make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, but I’m glad you used a sunscreen to protect yourself. There’s so many hydrating toners out there that it’s just unnecessary to use a exfoliating toner to look “glowy.” They make toners that do that already. I would love to see a video about your favorite spf products!
So true! I can’t live without Paula’s Choice! I’ve tried dupes, but nothing compares to how your skin feels after their products. My makeup goes on so well whenever I use it consistently. Something in their formula just creates smooth soft skin with a nice moisturized plump look. I use their inscrub everyday wash and their 2% BHA afterward with Cerave Nighttime moisturizer. This is the best combination to make my skin happy. Still trying to clear up all the quarantine acne and adult acne that flared up last year and into April.
I have found the most perfect skin like foundation that is now my holy grail. You have to try it! NARS tinted moisturizer with sunscreen. I wear your shade and the shade 1 is perfect. You can build it up or add their matte foundation over top (very sparingly) for a full coverage.

I used the L’Oréal infallible powder and I was shook. I do have large pores and a dry patch on my chin and it blurred like a Snapchat filter. I used the Nyx pore filler primer under it and their setting spray. I was getting all kinds of compliments. My new holy grail

I've been using Nars soft matte foundation for several months and you're right it's tricky to get right. I was just about to give up and find another foundation. So glad I searched and found this updated routine! I didn't want to find another foundation that process is grueling 😂 just need to try out your dry sponge trick and grab that primer - your link didn't work to the Haley's primer for some reason. Not sure if they changed the name or what - Soft Matte Poreless Primer is what's on their site now 💕

Right? I am now using the Hada Labo Hyaluronic acid toner, a face oil, and then vanicream moisturiser before sunscreen in order to get enough moisture. But it's working! Have had lots of compliments on my glowing, newly- 40 year old skin.
Holly G that’s a great routine! Love the Hada Lobo Hyaluronic but I was very sad to find out that it broke me out a bit 😭 but I’ve started using the Elta MD Barrier complex and I layer it with the PC booster ceramide oil and it’s phenomenal! I also use a little of the Sunday Riley ICE cream under a essence-like SPF and finally my skin doesn’t get tight later in the day. Fingers crossed it keeps working! 😆
Love this Nars foundation, Taylor, but on my very mature skin it accentuates my pores and texture. Hasn't kept me from trying it again and again though. I'm going to try putting it on with a dry sponge like you've found works best. I would love to find out that that application makes me love it even more. I haven't given up. I've been trying many new foundations that are medium coverage, semi glowy. They're OK. I just need full coverage (not heavy) no matter what! Your finished face looked beautiful! Just perfect in my opinion!!
You had me at NARS!!!! I absolutely love it. I have fair skin and it's hard to find a color that isn't too light. The best way i have found to apply it is also with a sponge.
The No7 lift and illuminate presses powder at target is the most blurring and smoothing powder I ever used. It’s way better than the L’Oréal and cover girl because with provides coverage but blurs insanely with the tiniest amount.... but even if I use it all over my face, it blurs but still leaves a youthful look. Not dry and siliconey. Very light and airy. you need to try it. It’s amazing . Way better than the Charlotte powder which everyone raves about
@@Sims2gal1000 it sucks because they discontinued the darkest shade!! It was called deep. You can get it on EBay for $14 and then I used the shade “Medium” for under my eyes. They sell medium at target. I swear this powder is amazing and way better than the Charlotte Tilbury!!

I use the Paula's choice for BHA and Alpha-H liquid gold for AHA but I apply both just with my fingers. Saves a TON of product to not soak a cotton pad! I kinda drip in onto my cheek and quickly spread it out 😊
I found that the L’Oréal Hydra Perfecte translucent powder is amazing for the under eye and whole face. It doesn’t dry out my skin or make my under eye all crepey. It gives the perfect finish

If you’re having problem with creasing I would recommend the Wayne goss technique where he uses an eye primer under the eyes! He has a whole video about it

I have large pores and super oily tzone. I love the Dr Brandt Pores No More Primer with the NARS soft matte foundation. As my oils break through during the day, this foundation looks great! It almost looks refreshed with my natural oils. It’s a grail foundation for me for sure. 👍
I have the same skin type and use Dr Brant primer as well. Seems like not enough people talk about it. I also like it on it's own if I have no time for foundation but just want something on my skin to smooth my texture and control my oils.

Now that my skin is doing so much better i decided to give matte foundation another go. And after seeing the vid for the Nars Soft Matte I went ahead and bought it and omg it is beautiful. My skin look velvety and it really does last all day without looking too makeup-y. I always trust your judgment when it comes to foundations !!
I love that you give creasing tips! The places I get lines arent places where you can really put botox lol 😒 but I would still recommend you try it once if you’re interested!

It’s helpful to avoid using a chemical exfoliant in the morning. They make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, but I’m glad you used a sunscreen to protect yourself. There’s so many hydrating toners out there that it’s just unnecessary to use a exfoliating toner to look “glowy.” They make toners that do that already. I would love to see a video about your favorite spf products!
So true! I can’t live without Paula’s Choice! I’ve tried dupes, but nothing compares to how your skin feels after their products. My makeup goes on so well whenever I use it consistently. Something in their formula just creates smooth soft skin with a nice moisturized plump look. I use their inscrub everyday wash and their 2% BHA afterward with Cerave Nighttime moisturizer. This is the best combination to make my skin happy. Still trying to clear up all the quarantine acne and adult acne that flared up last year and into April.
I have found the most perfect skin like foundation that is now my holy grail. You have to try it! NARS tinted moisturizer with sunscreen. I wear your shade and the shade 1 is perfect. You can build it up or add their matte foundation over top (very sparingly) for a full coverage.

I used the L’Oréal infallible powder and I was shook. I do have large pores and a dry patch on my chin and it blurred like a Snapchat filter. I used the Nyx pore filler primer under it and their setting spray. I was getting all kinds of compliments. My new holy grail

I've been using Nars soft matte foundation for several months and you're right it's tricky to get right. I was just about to give up and find another foundation. So glad I searched and found this updated routine! I didn't want to find another foundation that process is grueling 😂 just need to try out your dry sponge trick and grab that primer - your link didn't work to the Haley's primer for some reason. Not sure if they changed the name or what - Soft Matte Poreless Primer is what's on their site now 💕

I’m on the dry side and if I used nothing but a physical exfoliant and a lightweight sunscreen, my skin would be SCREAMING for more moisture 😩
Right? I am now using the Hada Labo Hyaluronic acid toner, a face oil, and then vanicream moisturiser before sunscreen in order to get enough moisture. But it's working! Have had lots of compliments on my glowing, newly- 40 year old skin.
Holly G that’s a great routine! Love the Hada Lobo Hyaluronic but I was very sad to find out that it broke me out a bit 😭 but I’ve started using the Elta MD Barrier complex and I layer it with the PC booster ceramide oil and it’s phenomenal! I also use a little of the Sunday Riley ICE cream under a essence-like SPF and finally my skin doesn’t get tight later in the day. Fingers crossed it keeps working! 😆
Love this Nars foundation, Taylor, but on my very mature skin it accentuates my pores and texture. Hasn't kept me from trying it again and again though. I'm going to try putting it on with a dry sponge like you've found works best. I would love to find out that that application makes me love it even more. I haven't given up. I've been trying many new foundations that are medium coverage, semi glowy. They're OK. I just need full coverage (not heavy) no matter what! Your finished face looked beautiful! Just perfect in my opinion!!
I use my NARS soft matte with a paddle brush similar to the Artis. This foundation gets better for me as the day goes on.
You had me at NARS!!!! I absolutely love it. I have fair skin and it's hard to find a color that isn't too light. The best way i have found to apply it is also with a sponge.
The No7 lift and illuminate presses powder at target is the most blurring and smoothing powder I ever used. It’s way better than the L’Oréal and cover girl because with provides coverage but blurs insanely with the tiniest amount.... but even if I use it all over my face, it blurs but still leaves a youthful look. Not dry and siliconey. Very light and airy. you need to try it. It’s amazing . Way better than the Charlotte powder which everyone raves about

@@Sims2gal1000 it sucks because they discontinued the darkest shade!! It was called deep. You can get it on EBay for $14 and then I used the shade “Medium” for under my eyes. They sell medium at target. I swear this powder is amazing and way better than the Charlotte Tilbury!!

I use the Paula's choice for BHA and Alpha-H liquid gold for AHA but I apply both just with my fingers. Saves a TON of product to not soak a cotton pad! I kinda drip in onto my cheek and quickly spread it out 😊

I found that the L’Oréal Hydra Perfecte translucent powder is amazing for the under eye and whole face. It doesn’t dry out my skin or make my under eye all crepey. It gives the perfect finish
I love the finish. Anything that helps with dry skin I take notice of. Plus I have mature skin so anything skin like is really helpful!

If you’re having problem with creasing I would recommend the Wayne goss technique where he uses an eye primer under the eyes! He has a whole video about it
