I found this so interesting because on paper we seem to have really similar skin, but the glossier skin tint and concealer look amazing on my skin, cover my redness and any blemishes just enough while letting freckles shine through, and boy brow is my holy grail brow gel, just shows how products work differently on people even when they have the same skin type
Good girl for pushing through on that product. I find that many girls that break out and say oh it caused me to break out. Nine times out of 10 they're coming up on their cycle. They haven't cleansed their skin well enough. They're not exfoliating enough. And or is the fluke thing and it's caused a little purging to your skin. Which every person should follow through at least one month of a product to see if it's actually making you break out. Go past your cycle. Don't forget for at least two weeks out of the month you can have problematic skin. Especially if you're acne prone.

I’ve been using glossier for a month now, I bought a set of a few things and I’m obsessed!! I used to hate skin tint etc but since the pandemic I’ve been obsessed with the no makeup your skin but better look and that’s what glossier leans towards!
The stretch concealer actually has bomb coverage with a dry sponge! I get super dry undereyes during the winter and really appreciate the way it looks. Coverage for me is terrible with a brush and there’s too much slip with fingers.
I think part of the issue with reviewing Glossier is they have so few products that if you don’t like 7 of them, you basically “hate” most of their products in the eyes of die hard Glossier people
True but people got to realize that the brand doesn’t cater for everyone you cant go in thinking full glam or if you’re used to that because it’s far from that it’s strange but I still encourage people with acne to try it because it worked for me and I don’t have perfect skin

I love their blush, the colour dusk is a beautiful brown/pink, and have to say that the concealer works great for me. It doesn't make my undereye look crepey

I felt the same about the Priming Moisturiser initially, however it totally grew on me! I have more oily skin though, so the lightweight whipped texture was just a dream and it didn’t break me out! I’d give it a solid 9/10 haha

i actually really love the glossier skin tint ! 2 layers with your hands make it look like your skin but better. the concealer is also my favorite concealer ever
The skin tint actually worked super well for me! And the shade i chose was freaking spot on! I like it when I want lighter feeling on my skin and even tho I have more oily skin, the glow in the product just works great 🤷♀️😅
Balm Dot Com is legit my favorite lip balm - and I’ve tried them all. I like the basic plain one the best because you can put it on your lips, hands, cuticles, anywhere. I literally have a tube in my bag, in my bathroom, at my desk - everywhere. It’s the only Glossier product I repurchase consistently.
I think it's all about what you like personally. I really like the glossier skin tint and concealer. I have oily skin, and it definitely makes me oilier, but I just really like the natural look on my skin. Although, I do have my eye on trying the Mac face and body next once I finish the skin tint
The Skin Tint contains alcohol, which can make oily skin worse (it can dry out the skin which can cause someone to overproduce oil to compensate). If you like a glowy look and want something else from Glossier, you may like Futuredew.
Can you try the new revolution face and body foundation? Curious wether its a dupe for mac since most people dont like the new f&b (apparently its not exactly the same formula anymore)
I have to confess: I am nowhere near the demographic of the average Glossier consumer, yet I love their products! The Milky Jelly Cleanser, three serums, and both moisturizers are high on my list, especially Super Bounce and Super Pure. Since I pretty much haven't worn a full face of make-up in over a year, I'm hooked on Brow Boy, the Stretch Concealer under my eyes, Balm Dot Calm, and FutureDew in the winter only. The body products don't impress me, except the hand creme (sadly far too small a container for the price) and Glossier You fragrance even though it doesn't last on me. Though I've hugely expanded my skincare collection since latching onto Glossier during the early pandemic, Glossier still has a place in my routine and it has made my skin look fantastic.

I'm a years-long, die-hard user of the skin tint (unpopular opinion, ikik) and I don't apologize but it is the only Glossier product I've continued to use. I've yet to find a youtuber who likes it but strangely, I like it for all the reasons most YT'ers don't... mainly that it's glowy and has just the tiniest amount of coverage to mute my redness but otherwise lets my skin shine (I have acne and far-from-perfect skin that I try to embrace).
I have the Boy Brow and I use it sometimes but I found an Elf brow that works great & didn’t cost as much. I love that you give the reasons something doesn’t work but also include things that do work. Thanks 😊

I wanted to be a glossier girl so much 2017-2018 but found very few products I truly loved. Then last year there was some controversy around the morals of the ceo and retail environments, so I stopped purchasing from them. Thank you for giving great alternatives 💜
I have the Glossier Stretch Concealer and I agree it does NOT cover everything, BUT, it looks gorgeous when applied with a damp sponge and used as foundation. So natural and glowy. 🥰

the neutrogena invisible defense serum sunscreen is everything you described the invisible shield as! it’s ~13 USD for 1.7 oz and doesn’t have a scent or cast at all! it’s a mineral sunscreen ( i think) so it does burn my eyes if i’m not careful of how i apply it, but eye drops clear up the burning immediately
I actually really love the mascara from glossier. It looks super natural and separating but dries down to almost a tubing formula so when you wash it off it doesn't run and it doesn't transfer. Its not waterproof but it does dry a tad stiff almost like it is?

Glossier You is hands down my all time favorite fragrance. Last year when I ran out of mine and didn't quite have the funds for another bottle I went on a hunt for a dupe and Bath and Bodywork's Kaleidoscope smells EXACTLY the same! I'm not sure if that's a discontinued line, but I found it on Amazon.
I have never tried Glossier make up but the skincare products I’ve tried have honestly worked wonders. But I always love and appreciate how honest you are and I only ever buy products that are Taylor approved lmao
Usually you and I have the same results with skin products so I'm surprised at this one. I love the stretch concealer and skin tint! Covers well enough for me (dark circles and acne).
lol funny update but i tried the catrice dewy glow and it completely EVAPORATES on my skin. dew goes away after like an hour 😢 i guess i have drier skin than you. also the spray smells a little like gas/burning rubber.

Love this! I’m super curious about your testing process. I feel like you are constantly testing a million new products! I get the boxycharm box and get a ton of great stuff in it but I’m always overwhelmed by trying to test them all. I have sensitive skin so when something breaks me out I like stop using everything I used at that point

I love their future dew serum as a foundation mixer because I have insanely dry skin and prefer lighter coverage but I haven't tried too many other products.
I love to mix the Skin Tint with their Priming moisturizer and Auric Glow Lust as my go to everyday face when I wear makeup. I don’t wear foundation/makeup on a daily basis and prefer next to no coverage when I do, so skin tint works for me. I love the quickness and sort of mindless ease of having an already sheer product vs taking the time to sheer out a foundation.
How interesting, I have the oiliest eyelids and I LOVE color slide liners because they don’t transfer at all on my lids! I am so sad they were discontinued 😩
I personally really love the priming moisturizer. It works beautifully under makeup and you get a ton of product. But I agree with your opinion on all of the other products. I definitely won’t be trying the liquid eyeshadow!
Have you ever tried CB I hate perfume? It is one of the most wonderful innovative parfumerie I’ve ever been to. When they had a boutique in Brooklyn I stopped in and it was amazing. My favorite is Library and In the Summer Kitchen.
Great video Taylor! So helpful. I wanted to tell you that my new favorite hand cream is from the brand skinfix at Sephora. It's called the eczema+ Hand Repair Cream and it is INCREDIBLE! Fragrance free, soaks in quickly but heals and leaves an invisible protective layer that you don't feel until you wash your hands. I have severe hand eczema in the winter and dry skin year round and I am loving their eczema line! So good!!! Love you, Taylor🥰🤗😘 Hope you are smiling 😁
i got a sun screen a few days ago that thankfully didn’t break me out first one ive found. i recommend you try it out its right at walmart its called banana boat sensitive mineral spf 50 has no added oils or fragrances accepted by national eczema association.
I think this is a totally fair review. We like a lot of the same products. I’m a huge fan of the brow flick, wowder, bomb dot com, cloud paints, and the perfume.

The only thing I can really justify from Glossier is the cloud paint. That stuff is so pigmented and long-lasting while looking really natural.

Glossier Future Dew was life changing for my dry skin under makeup. I have yet to find anything else like it.

I actually really love the mascara from glossier. It looks super natural and separating but dries down to almost a tubing formula so when you wash it off it doesn't run and it doesn't transfer. Its not waterproof but it does dry a tad stiff almost like it is?
They don't sell any Glossier play items anymore. So they don't sell the liquid highlighter, the liquid eyeshadows or the eye pencils!
The liquid highlighter is so good though!!!!

The eyeshadows are still available. But the highlighter and eyeliners are not for sure.

I've never used Glossier as I find their makeup too light, but have been meaning to try some of the skincare. One of my colleagues at work seems to love Glossier, but your reviews are the best in helping me decide! :)

I never tried the original formula but I purchased the new one and although there’s many things I do like about it, I’m having a hard time getting it to stay on throughout the day which is my biggest pet peeve. Every other review of it I’ve watched is raving about it. Very anxious to see your honest review!

Glossier You is hands down my all time favorite fragrance. Last year when I ran out of mine and didn't quite have the funds for another bottle I went on a hunt for a dupe and Bath and Bodywork's Kaleidoscope smells EXACTLY the same! I'm not sure if that's a discontinued line, but I found it on Amazon.
I have never tried Glossier make up but the skincare products I’ve tried have honestly worked wonders. But I always love and appreciate how honest you are and I only ever buy products that are Taylor approved lmao

Usually you and I have the same results with skin products so I'm surprised at this one. I love the stretch concealer and skin tint! Covers well enough for me (dark circles and acne).
lol funny update but i tried the catrice dewy glow and it completely EVAPORATES on my skin. dew goes away after like an hour 😢 i guess i have drier skin than you. also the spray smells a little like gas/burning rubber.
You should try Esentric Molecules Molecules 01. I really think you would love it. Similar vibes to Glossier You but I like it even more.

I get the boxycharm box and get a ton of great stuff in it but I’m always overwhelmed by trying to test them all. I have sensitive skin so when something breaks me out I like stop using everything I used at that point

I love their future dew serum as a foundation mixer because I have insanely dry skin and prefer lighter coverage but I haven't tried too many other products.
I tried a bunch of their products and really only love their lip balms and the perfume is TO DIE FOR! 😍
I love to mix the Skin Tint with their Priming moisturizer and Auric Glow Lust as my go to everyday face when I wear makeup. I don’t wear foundation/makeup on a daily basis and prefer next to no coverage when I do, so skin tint works for me. I love the quickness and sort of mindless ease of having an already sheer product vs taking the time to sheer out a foundation.
How interesting, I have the oiliest eyelids and I LOVE color slide liners because they don’t transfer at all on my lids! I am so sad they were discontinued 😩

I personally really love the priming moisturizer. It works beautifully under makeup and you get a ton of product. But I agree with your opinion on all of the other products. I definitely won’t be trying the liquid eyeshadow!

Have you ever tried CB I hate perfume? It is one of the most wonderful innovative parfumerie I’ve ever been to. When they had a boutique in Brooklyn I stopped in and it was amazing. My favorite is Library and In the Summer Kitchen.

Fragrance free, soaks in quickly but heals and leaves an invisible protective layer that you don't feel until you wash your hands. i got a sun screen a few days ago that thankfully didn’t break me out first one ive found. i recommend you try it out its right at walmart its called banana boat sensitive mineral spf 50 has no added oils or fragrances accepted by national eczema association.
I think this is a totally fair review. We like a lot of the same products. I’m a huge fan of the brow flick, wowder, bomb dot com, cloud paints, and the perfume.
