Action of the rods all through action ,semi fast action and fast action .All through short to medium range semi fast action medium to long distance and fast action long range to extreme distance.
They are family to me. They initially advertised the boat house as a fishing destination but 4 groups of fisherman ruined everything for everyone. One by one they trespassed, vandalized, disrespected the grounds as well as verbally abused the owners. So now they actually don't want fisherman there. They allow it to an extent but they don't encourage it. Its a shame how a few prices ruin everything for everyone. In terms of carp fishing there, long distance is super difficult because of the submerged weed and the boats but close in is good fun.
Thanks for the info and the video. I've a question about the rods, what about using a telescopic rod? Or half telescopic + a fixed tip, do you recommend using them or it's better 2 pieces rod only?
2 piece or half telescopic rods are the better choice I would only use a telescopic rod if potability is really an issue but even still a half telescopic with fixed tip like a nash or sonik is a good choice
Problem with telescopic rods is that they have too many joints. The plus is the transport lenght, but in some cases you need to cast 100 grams (around 3oz). I broke some rods along the way. Less joints better performance.
Ofcourse there are many rods that qualify😂😂 These are just two of them. If I mentioned all the fantastic rods out there the video would be 40 hours long 😋
This is just a recommendation, for people starting out. This help so they don’t have to look through hundreds of rods a reels then buy the wrong one.i have just looked and these rods online and they seem reasonable for small to mid range carp. However when you go to the largest carp I would imagine That these rods would make the fight a lot longer and harder.
I know this is old but great video for beginners like me! Love the quality and subscribed
8:44 thanks now I also know what the random black clip on my rod is for
